I was holding onto my girls morning bottle for some reason....but we gave it up this weekend.
They could really care less, but I am a little sad!

They are growing so fast! These are going to be our only kiddos so I think I really wanted to keep the baby phase going for a little longer!

Now that it has been a couple days I decided that it was time to throw all the bottles away (along with the bottle drying rack).
Hard to believe I went from washing 16-18 bottles a day down to none!!!

I have to say it is nice to have that little 'bottle corner' of my counter back! :good:

We gave up our night time bottle the same way. It is bittersweet. Congrats on the next phase!!!!

Hi Tamara! Mine gave up ther bottles at 11 months and then I realised my babies werent so "baby" anymore. It is a little sad, but it´s cute to see them growing up even if it is a little fast! Congrats to you! :D

I know what you mean about throwing away the bottles, I had DH put ours in the attic. I have no idea why, but I didn't want to throw them out. LOL. Yay for more counter space!

Tamara, I got misty eyed when I throw our bottles away. L&S are going to be our onlies too and it shocked me how much they have grown. Congratulations on being bottle free and having some counter space back!

We held onto a breakfast bottle for a while, too. It's been almost 2 months since their last one and I still miss the cuddling time. But now I look forward to all those random moments when they just come over and give me a hug, or a kiss, or just want to be held for a minute or two. They will always be my babies... :)

Aww.. It's just another dose of reality that your babies are growing up  bitter-sweet, indeed. Gonna work on ours during the next few months.
