OK, it's nap time and I've walked into the boys' room 10 times in the last 10 minutes. I tell ya, once they learn to climb out of their cribs nap time is history. And why did David think it was a good idea to leave a grocery bag on the floor? Is he insane? (Must get that from Mommy.)

OK, they are jumping on his bed now. 11 times, that's ridiculous, it's not even funny.

Most of our nights lately are this way with Blake. He just doesn't want to go to sleep. It drives me insane as I get no "me" time before I go to bed like I used to. I hope it stops very soon.

I also hope your boys eventually feel asleep. :hug99:

Ugh..that is so frustrating. If you believe supernanny...it will eventually stop.

Oh no Jenny! What about taking everything out of their room and just leaving a blanket on the floor for them to sleep on? Just kidding. I hope this does end soon before you are totally  !!

 That does not sound fun at all. :hug99: I hope they give you a break soon. And I'm not looking forward to when mine can get out of their cribs. :nea:

Jenny, I hope they finally went to sleep for you. :hug99: I know since we made the switch to beds, I usually have to in there and tell them to lay down a couple of times. Some days are worse than others.

That is essentially what I did with my two! I did leave their bed in there. :p

OK, this weekend we're moving them into Emma's room (Emma will share with Dave) and we're taking EVERYTHING out of there. OK, we're talking about 1 dresser, but it should be boring enough. I hope they like pastel purple!

Does anyone have two spare bedrooms they're willing to lend me? I'll pay for shipping.

Even with justa bed, they find SOMETHING to play with. We are going through this battle right now too. It was fine for like 5 months, now it's a fight again. In the twins' room, I have their beds and that's it! However, they play with their stuffed animals on the bed rails (walking them across and pretending it's a bridge), they grab the adjustment straps on the rails and pull at them, then get up in the window sill...et, etc. It's SO annoying, 'm right there with you!

SO, sorry, hope they settle down.

and thanks, y'all, for giving me a glimpse into their future; for now they just stand there and grip the slats like prisoners and WAIL.....

Jenny, there was a point that I would sit on the floor and threaten to take away lovies etc. if they got rambunctious! I read quite a few books that way!!

I'll save you a place in the looney bin with me!!

LOL - you're hilarious, Jenny! I know we went through this with the twins for a while. It was actually easy moving them to twin beds and they did really well but they hit a phase a while back where it was 10 times up and down the stairs before I had to scare them to sleep :) I'm a Mommy, I'm supposed to be scary, right??? Good Luck and it didn't last long with our boys so I hope it ends for you soon!!! Take care :)

I hear ya!! The girls used to be amazing sleepers, but not so much anymore. It is probably one of the most frustrating times I have ever gone thru with them. Now I just separate them until one falls asleep. Sorry I don't have better advice!

My bet is on two days, and you will have the dresser out of there too! :hug99:
