Just how different was your second pregnancy?

Well, the title says it all -- I'm curious about how different your singleton pregnancy was after having a twin pregnancy?

I'm only 5+1 but by this time last go-around, I was feeling slightly queasy and had to run to the bathroom constantly - sometimes 5 times a night.

This time, I'm bloated as heck and feel like I'm going to the bathroom less than normal. I'm nearing 30 oz of water for the day and I've gone twice - once mostly to wash my hands. I also haven't felt a twinge of nausea yet - not that I'm complaining! Other than the bloat, I don't feel pregnant at all.

Curious about other experiences out there!

Congrats on your pregnancy. The twins are my last so I haven't had a singleton after twins, but I have been pregnant four times and every one of them was different. It didn't seem to matter if they were boys or girls. I had horrendous MS with two and basically nothing for the twins and other boy. I would love to find out why they are so different with the same body, same environment, etc. The biggest 'twin' difference was just that I got bigger, quicker. But they were my fourth so my body wasn't exactly toned and trim to start with!!! Wishing you many more ms free days :)

It has been a whole lot easier to be pregnant with 1 versus 2. I feel pretty small this time compared to last time. I've gained 30 less pounds this time, I was able to stay active the whole pregnancy this time. It's just all around easier to be pregnant with a singleton. I'm just starting to feel uncomfortable all the time and I'm almost full term.

Both of mine are twin pregnancy but this 2nd one has been terrible compared with a relatively easy 1st pregnancy. Glad your is going easier, hope it stays that way.

I had no problems with either. The only huge difference was that with the boys I ate much, much more...and I got bigger of course

This pg for me has been totally different. I got a lot more uncomfortable this time around and seem to have been out of breath for months now. I actually think I had an "easier" time with the twin pg than w/ this one. :pardon: I'm almost to the end and so excited for it to be over! I am so looking forward to being able to play w/ my boys w/ out me having to take a time out!!!

    edited for correction

I felt really bloated with my 2nd pregnancy. (first was IVF which resulted in b/g twins, 2nd was unexpected and natural twins with one vanishing)
I didn't have morning sickness with either one of my pregnancies and other than the monthly yeast infections with my second pregnancy, they were both the same. I wish we could do it again!
    Congratulations again!

Other than terrible heart burn in the first trimesester. My singleton pregnancy was not really all the different from not being pregnant at all. That is compared to what it's like to be pregnant with twins.

My pregnancy after the twins was really easy. No sickness at all and it didn't slow me down any. I am pregnant again and this time its a lot different! I've already had morning sickness and feeling really under the weather!
