Just found out today we are having twins!

We just found out today we are having twins. It's very early (just 5 weeks). We have two young girls (ages 3 and 1) and these babies will be born in Dec/Jan. I'm excited and scared all at the same time. I don't know how I'm going to manage getting through a twin pregnancy with two little ones to care for all day. I'm a SAHM and my husband works from home so at least I've got that going for me. My parents are in town as well to help as needed. Just feeling a little overwhelmed and exhausted today. We go back on May 20th for our next ultrasound.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you and getting some of my questions answered.

Thanks for the warm welcome girls. I cried last night thinking about how I'm going to get through this pregnancy and then the craziness when the twins arrive. I know I should be excited and happy, but I can't help feeling that this is going to be too much for me. I'm really scared.

I have broken down a few times to my hubs saying I don't think I can do this. It's a big step to bring one into the world let alone two. You have support here! I haven't been on the forum long but can tell there are plenty of people willing to help us twin mums through ANYTHING! :grouphug:

 

Congrats on your twins! I hear you on the panic - ours were a surprise pregnancy to start, so twins just added to that!! You'll do what you have to do, and it will all become 'normal' to you !

 

Thanks for the words of encouragement girls. I'm still in shock a bit. I know I'll be back on to read some more of your stickies and to get to know you all. I have my in-laws in town this week and part of next so I won't be on much until they leave. My next apt is on May 20th. I'll update you all then.
