Just Curious

How much are or (were) your babies eating at a time and how much do they weigh??
My boys finally are eating 6 oz every 3 to 4 hours. I've never been concerned about their weight gain but they were only eating 4 oz for the longest time. They are now about 14.5 and 15.5 pounds. I'll find out exactly how much at their appointment tomorrow.

 

Sounds perfect to me. Mine eat 5 - 5.5 oz every 3-4 hrs and, at their 4 month appointment, weighed 14#10oz and 14#3oz.

Mine eat anywhere from 2-4 oz. depending on if they want to snack or eat. We do have the occasional 6oz. bottle. My dd is starting to want 6oz more, but ds not so much. DS weighed 13#7oz yesterday at his dr. apt. He wasn't feeling well. The dr said if they are eating 4 oz then that was great. sounds like your guys are doing well.

mine eat 8oz every 4 hours between 6am and 6 pm... BUT Seth had a week recently that he would only take in 24oz total for the day so i took him in and he weighed 15lb and 10 oz... Fri i will find out how much his bro weighs.... i would guess Nathan weighs 17lb. they have been eating like this for 3 w now

charlotte eats anywhere from 5-6 oz and Eve is still only eating 4 oz-5 if we try hard! no clue on weight yet 2 wks ago they were 10 lbs 11oz and 11 lbs 4 oz--im sure Charlotte is close to 13 lbs now and Eve im hoping is at least 12!

 

Abby eats about 6 oz and Ella eats 7. They eat every 3 hours.
Sounds like they eat the most and weigh the least. Two weeks ago they were hmmmm, I had to think about it but just see below...

 

At 4 mos we do 4 bottles a day:
8 am 8 oz
12 7 oz
4 7 oz
8 pm 8 oz

they each weigh 16.5 lbs.

 

At 4 months mine didn't drink much at all, usually 3oz for her and 4oz for him, if that... 7 times a day. She's always been small, but he's always been a big boy. Only recently did it increase to 5oz, and now we're actually closing on 6, 4-5 times a day. They're almost 6 months, she's 14lb and he's 17.5lb... So it really just depends on the babies! We haven't even felt the need to start solids yet.
