ARGH. I threw my back out this morning lugging the babies around. Had to happen sooner or later - both are over 15 lbs now. But OW. :vava: Luckily my DH got the afternoon off work so he can do all the "heavy lifting" around here.

Be careful, ladies! Twins are hazardous to your health!

I'm sorry. I have already done that too, when they were 3 months and didn't weigh that much yet!

I had this happen when I slept wrong when they were about 2 months old. I couldn't even lift them and I was having spasms! I feel for you. Hope you feel better soon!

Oy, that sucks! My middle and lower back are always killing me, but I have some major arms goin' on.

Have your DH rub you in with Icy Hot when he can ... that always feels better!

I did that about a month ago, but with the infant carrier and my chunkier DS...and now anytime i carry it for more than the downstairs-car-upstairs journey, i end up sore....i *must* not know the "correct" way to hold it!

heating pad and massage from dh helped a lot

UGH! As kendra said, i've got killer biceps, but my mid and lower back are a constant wreck. You might try ice - lie down on some bags of frozen veggies - peas, for example, as they flatten and conform. Cheaper than buying the fancy cold packs, too!

Make sure you rest - ha, as if THAT were an option!
