Just a vent

So this weekend has been awful!! I had my sister on Thursday night, and that went well, but on Friday, Jay woke up not feeling well. So after begging and yelling, I finally dragged him to the doctor (he didn't want to miss work) He has toncilitis and a sinus infection and an ear infection!! So we had some terrible weather here, and we couldn't get his prescriptions filled bc the computers were down at rite aid, tried to get him an OTC, and had a really hard time buying bc their credit card machines were down!! I had to write a check and forge his name, bc he was so sick he couldn't even walk in the store!! On the way home, it was a total downpour, it came down in buckets!! COuld hardly see and almost got into an accident. Our 10 minute drive home took 25 at least!
So we finally got home safely, and got soaked during the 10 ft run to the house from the car! I changed out of wet clothes and ripped one of the only shirts that fits me!! Then I got out and made Jay some chicken noodle soup, and as it was boiling, dumped it down the front of me! I have a HUGE blister on my stomach from the burn! It was so painful! So my sister ended up staying another night, taking care of both of us!
Then, yesterday, my best friend went out car shopping and I went with her, and is buying my dream car!! Well not my dream car, but the one we were going to buy when we got the money, a chrystler pacifica. She KNEW it was what I wanted and I reminded her of it, but she said, well you can get the same one, we do everything else the same! haha....yeah like I want to look like I'm copying her! Thats all I would hear! She also said, in a snotty attitude well you're not going back to work, so its not like you can afford it anyway!! I was so mad! She can't afford it, I know that.... she will end up having mommy pay for it, ecen though she works full time... and doesn't have any bills!!! I just hate watching her get handouts! But thats a whole nother story that would take forever to tell!!
Then I got home and had contractions all night!

SO its been a lovely weekend... just had to vent about it.... oh and my blister hurts so bad, I've stayed home as much as possible with no shirt on to keep it from rubbing!!

I'm sorry...what a stinky weekend.
It's been raining here in Texas non-stop for two months. I'm so sick of it, I could scream. Half the time, I get caught in a downpour walking out of the store with BOTH of the boys and I'm too fat and pregnant to run.

I had a "friend" do that to me over a car once too. Actually, I had broken off the friendship and when DH and I were talking about a buying a new car, she got wind of it and went out and bought the one we'd looked at the night before. The only consolation was that she now had a $500 car payment and gas prices were soaring at the time. I have to admit that not only did I get a kick out of that, I also loved that I got a car that was newer a year later.

Hope this week treats you better.

 

I hope things look up too, but its not looking good... I just got up to go get ready for bed, and walking down the dark hallway stepped in cat puke and fell on my butt in it... I hadn't planned on showering tonight, but i had to to get the puke off my backside..... :angry:

:hug99: I really hope your weeks gets a lot better.

I spilled boiling water down my front when I first got pregnant with girls and it sucked. I could not imagine doing that while I was so big and miserable any way.

 

I'm sorry to hear that you had such a bad weekend. Hopefully, this week will be better!

 

I hope things start to get better for you all!! It stinks that our belly is big & in the way, doesn't it!! I keep bumping into things and say, "oops, I forget how big I am!!" Although, I'm still not that tremedously big like I've seen others get with twins.
