I was having u/s every 4 weeks because I had bleeding early on. Now that they are measuring different (1/2 lb) I am having them every 2 weeks.
Hi there, Since one of the placentas is lieying very low on my uterus, I see my doctor every 2 weeks. He also likes to do an u/s at every doctor visit. I have felt both of them at different times move - but I don't feel them kick yet. I feel more like flutters in my tummy. I'm looking forward to them kicking and moving a lot more so my DH can feel them too.
This is my first time posting here, but I love reading all the posts. I've had u/s's every 4 weeks since about 15 weeks. As for feeling them move, I'm 25 weeks and have been feeling both babies move for about the past 2-3 weeks throughout the day and night. The movement isn't always really strong, but they are certainly getting more and more active. I would say I definately feel them both.
My guys only liked to kick on the right side - B was transverse on the top, and A was head down - and that was the side they liked to kick - A was also not as active as B (and still is to this day )
Ive had three u/s's so far, tomorrow i go in for the measurment one so im crossing my fingers that the girls are a good size. As for the moving oh my goodnesss it feels like these are dancers or acrobats haha.
I had u/s at weeks 19, 23, 27, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, and 35. I think you are still pretty early to be feeling them both on a consistant basis. I was never sure who I was feeling when but at 20 weeks I hadn't felt them at all yet.
I was high risk to begin with so I had a TON! A short ultrasound at every appt from the get-go which was usually at least once a week. Had level 2s every 3 weeks in the beginning. At around 20 weeks I started going 1-2 times a week and level 2s every 2 weeks. At 24 weeks I started 3 a week for a BPP and continued level 2s every 2 weeks, this continued through the rest of the pregnancy
My ultrasounds were at 6.5, 12, 18, 24, 28, 32 and 36. I only ever felt baby 2 moving around. Baby 1 was the one who used to play with my bladder (pinching it or something)
I had them every 2 weeks - I had some bleeding issues early on and then the girls had some growth issues in the later weeks. I felt them move at 11 weeks - only on my left side. I did have times that I felt them on both sides a little later - When they got a little bigger - It felt like I was pregnant with one GIANT baby!! it is still hard for me to believe that both of these babies were packed in there!!! the babies positions have a lot to do with where movement is felt - during ultrasounds - both would move but I would only feel movement on one side or the other - but because both sets of feet were on that side - it was actually both girls! I did go to the doctor one day because I didn't think I was feeling baby A - she was a little sleepy that day - but was fine. If you are concerned about lack of movement - call your doctor - they will check them out and set your mind at ease!! CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR TWINS!!! Addison Emily - 6pounds 9.5oz Ava Grace - 6pounds 8.4oz born 01-03-07 by scheduled c-section
I guess that they labeled me high risk right off the bat b/c we were having twins. Then, they sent me to the departmetn of fetal med. at the hospital where they took care of me. I went in two times a week once for a stress tests on the babies and one for an ultrasound. This was each week for the last 2 months and then before that it was like every two weeks. Congrats on your twins!
I had one u/s. I carried them to 41 weeks. I didn't know I was having twins until 26 weeks. Can't remember about the movement to be honest. I just assumed I had one really active baby in there. Lisa
I didnt fnd out i was pregnant untill i was 12 weeks. Then i had U/S every 4 weeks and the occasional (sp?) midwife appointment inbetween. I carried them untill 32.4 weeks. Perfect pregnancy up untill then! Only made 1 antenatal class! Lol they couldnt wait (get packed early). I was the same it was Sophie (baby b) that was way more active. I swear i only felt (Baby a) Jack move about 4 times! Hope this is helpful to you and good luck x
