Hey guys, I have a few questions!

I went in on Monday for a nuchal scan and evrything looked good...YEAH! The tech would not comment on the sex of either baby but I know from reading on this site that some of you guys were getting a "quess" at about 13 weeks. Obviously the most important thing is that they are healthy but I am just dying to find out what they are. My husband and I have 3 boys and 1 girl...my daughter wants a sister sooo bad! I saw three lines on baby A...just like what my daughters looked like, baby B I really didn't see anything...but no boy parts were noticed. What do you guys think??? I have had a dream that I am having a boy and a girl, its the only one that I have had. Did any of you have dreams that were accurate?

Also I wanted to know an average of how long everyone was able to work? I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts 3 days a week...right now I am not having any problems but I am worried about over doing it! Any suggestions...

    Thanks everyone...I LOVE this site!!

I actually did have accurate gender dreams with both of my pregnancies so good luck!!!

I was put on bedrest and off of work due to a short cervix around 25 weeks. I have been in the hospital with an even shorter cervix since about 27 weeks but don't get discouraged! I know plenty of people who had uneventful twin pregnancies. I think the most important thing is to take it one day at a time and to start taking it easy from the beginning.

    Good luck!

I hope what you saw is a girl! For your daughters sake.
I think with work it should be based on how you are doing, what your body is telling you and if things are going good. I worked up to 32 weeks, and that's when my doctor wanted me out of work. I had a job where I could sit when needed, great coworkers who helped me out when needed and I didn't have any complications. I could have went longer but I couldn't drive and I was starting to be more of a burden at work then help. Some OB's don't let twin momma's go past a certain week {I've read some that are taken out of work at 28 weeks} so I'd talk to your OB and see what they say. :good:

Luckily at my nuchal scan they were able to 'guess' on the gender (though the tech said she had been doing them for 15 years & could def see it was 2 girls- she was right!)
I hope you get your little girl :good:

I worked until it just became too uncomfortable (I have a desk job though) at 32 weeks and stayed home till my c-section date at 37.5 weeks :)

I had dreams about the babies sexes all the time! I had a dream it was identical girls, one of each and fraternal boys! Turns out I'm having identical boys! As for work I'm not sure because I don't work at all.
