Hi, my name is Karen-I live in Georgia-I will be 37 yrs. of age in February-I am 14 wks, doctor says 15 wks, but that's another topic, my expected due date is July 13th-This is my 1st pregnancy-I am happy about this pleasant surprise-Some notes that I would like to compare are:

    1) HOW MANY DOCTOR'S VISIT/TESTS HAVE YOU HAD SO FAR? I have had 7 total visits, 4 to my OBGYN and 3 to the specialist (I have been placed as high risk because of the multiple pregnancy and because of my age.) So far the tests that I have been given was for bloodwork (testing for any disease), every time that I go they check my urine (the 1st urine test showed that I had a severe Urinary Tract Infection,I rarely ever drank water before the pregnancy)I was given Amoxcillin which cleared the infection in 7 dys,and have been faithfully drinking my liquids.I also had the pap smear from the OB. The specialist gave me the option of having the amnio test to check for down syndrome, but I denied having that test done. The next visit I am scheduled to give more bloodwork at the OBGYN for any generational problems(AFP test),and when I go to the specialist they check the size of my cervix, size of the fetus, and make sure that every thing is working properly (flow of blood to babies, oxygen, fluids, placenta)and I may learn the sexes of the babies :) ,I will be 17-18 wks.

    2) HOW ARE YOU DOING?ARE YOU EXPERIENCING MORNING/NIGHT SICKNESS? For me this sickness did not start until I reached 2mths.I experienced nausea, vomiting, headaches, was hungry but could not eat, which in return made me sick. It got to the place where I had to take the pre-natals at night because they really made me sick during the day.The nurse at the OBGYN gave me a prescription of promethazine for nausea and vomiting, then later she wrote a prescription for zofran- I have to say I rarely took any because I found out that for pregnancy the promethazine was a catagory C and I suffer for the best interest of the babies, although I was told that it does not affect the babies ( i guess i am overprotective) I figure if I am high risk, I just take it easy.Well I am happy to say that when I reached 13 wks.,the sickness has subsided.

    3) ARE YOU EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH/ ROUND LIGAMENT PAIN & HOW OFTEN? I have been experiencing shortness of breath and sometimes it seems as if it is hard for me to breath-I dont have asthma, but I am going to mention this again to my doc. to check my lungs or something-because I have the ceiling fan on or a window up because stuffiness really make it difficult to breath. My doc says that shortness of breath is normal. Now the round ligament pain or muscles stretching seems to happen when I turn over in the bed or when I get up to use the restroom or bending.

    4) DO YOU KNOW THE SEXES OF YOUR BABIES(if so,how many wks. were you & at doc. visit # what?)/HAVE YOU FELT YOUR BABIES MOVE? I do not know the sexes yet-I hope to have a boy/girl combo.Hopefully I will find that out at the next visit, which will be visit#4 @ the specialist.I don't think that I have felt them move yet.

    5) HOW IS THE HUBBY/FIANCE'/BABY DADDY HANDLING THE PREGNANCY? My husband is happy that he is expected to be a father, this is also his 1st pregnancy at age 37, so finding out tht we are having 2 we are really happy because I was dreading the thought of doing it again at 38-40 yrs, plus I am a nursing student and expected to actually be in the program the spring of 2010.He is a hard worker and I know that he will be a great father...BUT......I am gonna keep it real with you all, there have been numerous times that my hard working, happy about the pregnancy-hubby...has acted like a total jerk! I don't know if it's the man getting on your nerves thing going on,but many times I feel that he does not understand what hormones and different emotions that I have been experiencing.I am a person who love fragrances I even had a cabinet built especially for my collection of fragrances, but since I have been pregnant I do not wear my fragrances,I have a keen sense of smell and can not handle smells..(smoke,household chemicals, pesticides, loud spices in food,etc...)As we live in a small 1 bdroom apt, he wears Brut cologne, which I have confiscated & hidden,he puts on this loud magic shave stuff which lies when they claim to be odorless,he is forever spraying some loud house-hold chemical or pesticide, he cooks food like goat meat with tons of seasoned salts, the smell of fried grease follows that.....he tells me that I am over exagerating about the sinus headaches that these odors cause & the fact that they are harmful to the fetus. He gets upset when I feel nauseous..I would just love a deceant backrub from time to time....But he proudly tells everyone about him expecting twins,It's like I'm doing the hard work and he gets to enjoy the prize.(Expect to hear more about this because there is more, even to the point where I am thinking about seeking shelter in a safe enviroment.)

*Any questions that may be of a concern to you please ask.. and thank you in advance for sharing your experiences..I hope that we can be support for each other & make this journey together a happy and healthy one.

I am Michele. I am 30 years old and live in Ohio. I am 15 weeks along, due date 7/12/09. This is my first pregnancy.

    1) HOW MANY DOCTOR'S VISIT/TESTS HAVE YOU HAD SO FAR? I first met with RE at 7 weeks to confirm pregnancy and had ultrasound to find twins. Around 9 weeks I met with OB for pap smear, blood work, and general information session. At 11 weeks, I had another ultrasound with my OB. At 13 weeks, I had the NT scan, bloodwork and ultrasound. 14 weeks I met with OB and just talked and heard heart beats. I will go every 4 weeks until I am 20 weeks then every other week. I will get ultrasounds at 20 weeks then every month after that.

    2) HOW ARE YOU DOING?ARE YOU EXPERIENCING MORNING/NIGHT SICKNESS? Sickness started for me around 2 months and has not let up. At first I was sick in the afternoons, now it is shifting towards the night with an occasional afternoon sickness. Mornings are best for me, so I spend most of that time eating! I just got a little bit of an appetite back. The thought of preparing my food makes me sick, so I eat out a lot.

    3) ARE YOU EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH/ ROUND LIGAMENT PAIN & HOW OFTEN? Shortness of breathe, more so in the 2nd month, it has since gone away. Ligament pain more at night when I am moving around in bed and getting in and out. I seem to have it a couple of days, then it goes away for a week. Nothing too bad at all.

    4) DO YOU KNOW THE SEXES OF YOUR BABIES Not yet, I will at 20 weeks hopefully! I do not think I have felt the babies move, but I cannot wait to feel it!

    2) HOW ARE YOU DOING?ARE YOU EXPERIENCING MORNING/NIGHT SICKNESS? I experienced MAJOR all day sickness the first 14 weeks but for about a week now I have felt great. It is so nice to meet you Michele...I am wondering what the NT scan is and if I had that done yet.I have only had one blood work done so far,and the 2nd bloodwork is scheduled for visit #4 with the OB-I will be 17-18 wks then and suppose to have the AFP to check for abnormalities, have you had that one done yet? And for the morning sickness I was like you so weak that it was difficult preparing the food so I also ate out alot-I also bout ensure and drank that to give me nutrients and to carry me to the next meal.

Nice to meet you Lorin.....1) (I had the "first screen" to check for down syndrome.) was that the test where they stick a needle in your stomach to draw fluid to check for down syndrome? If so at your age I am suprised to hear that you were tested for that.( then again I am a newbie to this)
    4) (I went to the doctor on the 9th and I was 14 weeks 2 days and she told me she thinks they are both girls but we will see.) I was hoping that my doc would have at least gave me a hint about the possibility of the sexes. ;)

Just thought I would mention.....if your twins are mono/di they are identical and will be the same sex. However, you could have di/di and the placenta just be fused to look like one which in that case....you still have a chance for boy/girl. Good luck and keep us posted!!!

    Nice to meet you too!
No they just did an ultrasound to check the thickness of the back of their necks and they pricked my finger for blood. They offered it to me and since my insurance paid for it and they didn't have to do anything too serious I opted to do it even though I wasn't at higher risk for down syndrome(and I got an extra ultra sound!)
The ultrasound tech that I saw is really nice and I was like if you HAD to guess right now what would you say they are so that's how I got told she thinks they are both girls and she just said that because she didn't see anything between the legs but they weren't really cooperating much.

O ya I've heard that before. I always forget (must be pregnancy brain) haha. Well I guess we will see in 4 weeks if they are truly mono/di or if they're placentas fused

Hi all -- I am Marie and am 21weeks today. I will be 37 when I deliver. My EDD is June 1st, so I am counting on May babies.

    1) HOW MANY DOCTOR'S VISIT/TESTS HAVE YOU HAD SO FAR? I had 2 with the RE with Ultrasounds both times. One at 6 weeks and one at 8 weeks. I then saw a midwife at 12 weeks, had an NT scan at 14 weeks, visited with the OB at 16 weeks, had the Level II ultrasound at 18 weeks and another visit with the OB at 19 weeks. So 7 visits so far about every two weeks. My next appointment is Wednesday to get the rest of the information for the Level II Ultrasound. They wouldn't stay still enough for them to get a clear picture of their hearts after over 3 hours of trying the last time. We chose not to do an amnio even with an elevated risk assessment from the NT scan (1 in 55), although that would have been done right after the Level II US so it wouldn't have added another appointment. We just didn't want any more stress. As of now, I have appointments scheduled until mid-February every 2 weeks either with the OB or the peri and I think that will continue until the 3rd trimester and then become more frequent.

    2) HOW ARE YOU DOING?ARE YOU EXPERIENCING MORNING/NIGHT SICKNESS? I have had it pretty easy so far. No m/s of any kind. A few food aversions but nothing to complain about.

    3) ARE YOU EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH/ ROUND LIGAMENT PAIN & HOW OFTEN? I definately have shortness of breath. I can't go up or down stairs without breathing very heavy. Even a short walk across a parking lot can be a chore. I would try to get more walking in, but with all the snow in Mass, it really isn't possible. I experienced a few days last weekend with severe round ligament pain. The pains were stabbing and pretty much kept me on the couch for 2 days straight. Any movement would make them worse. Once that episode was over, I've had no problems since.

    4) DO YOU KNOW THE SEXES OF YOUR BABIES? One of each, and I couldn't be happier. I think this will be my only pregnancy, so to have one of each is just perfect in both my and my husband's mind.

Hello, my name is Jenn. I am going to be 30yr old in May. I live in Higgins Lake, Michigan and this is my fifth pregnancy. I have three children and had one early miscarriage prior to my last pregnancy. I have a 10 yr old daughter, 8.5 yr old daughter, and a 9 month old son. My EDD is July 17th.

    1) HOW MANY DOCTOR'S VISIT/TESTS HAVE YOU HAD SO FAR? I have had two O.B. appointments and two ultrasounds. The first u/s was to determine how far along we were as I am breastfeeding my baby and was not having regular monthly's AND that's when we got the news....TWINS! I was 9 weeks along. Then I had a follow-up u/s at 12w6d as they wanted to look again to determine mono/di. After that my second OB appt. at which time we discussed another u/s @ 17wks and getting set up with a perinatologist.

    2) HOW ARE YOU DOING?ARE YOU EXPERIENCING MORNING/NIGHT SICKNESS? The first couple weeks was just a yucky feeling in my stomach (this was b4 I knew I was preggo and only after realized that it was the same all day nausea I had experienced with my son). Since about 11 weeks I have been pretty good except after dinner I feel really yucky, even if I only eat a small portion. No vomiting though so I guess I shouldn't complain! Other than that I just feel HUGE. I was measuring 17 weeks at my 13w appt.

    3) ARE YOU EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH/ ROUND LIGAMENT PAIN & HOW OFTEN? I tend to only get short of breath when taking numerous trips up and down the stairs or if I try to take them too fast and this is usually only at night after dinner. The round ligament pain doesn't happen very often but when it does...OUCH. I know not to move too quickly but sometimes I think about that too late! LOL Mostly getting out of bed or turning in bed is when it happens.

    4) DO YOU KNOW THE SEXES OF YOUR BABIES(if so,how many wks. were you & at doc. visit # what?)/HAVE YOU FELT YOUR BABIES MOVE? I am hoping to find out their sex at my 17wk u/s. We are hoping for boys. I think I may have felt them move here and there but nothing consistant yet. A few times after I have laid down to bed I feel little flutters but am not totally convinced it is the babies just yet.

    5) HOW IS THE HUBBY/FIANCE'/BABY DADDY HANDLING THE PREGNANCY? It doesn't seem anyone else wants to answer this question!! LOL
My husband is 13 years my senior and our son was his first biological child. I was actually surprised that he decided to we would have one child, let alone get pregnant again. He was a bit overwhelmed **total understatement** when he found out that our second pregnancy resulted in twins. He is the complete opposite of me and worries about EVERYTHING. So he went into total freak out mode about how we were going to afford and provide for two on top of our three we already have. He has since calmed down and is just doing the dad thing. He has been so good with our son, moreso than I ever thought he would be.
I feel your pain though on the sensitivity area with your DH. If I say anything about my back hurting or something to do with the pregnancy, he is saying, "well, that isn't how it was last time", or something unintelligent. He also seems to get annoyed when I feel nauseous, which I totally don't understand. I did however remind him that this is a whole new ballgame and that I am not looking for sympathy when I say these things, just a little encouraging word. He has gotten better since that...even if he is sometimes being sarcastic! LOL
On the other hand, he has totally taken over the bathroom cleaning duties as he doesn't want me sniffing the chemicals and he has realized that after working all day, coming home to make dinner and trying to squeeze some time in with the kids, I am exhausted so most nights he does dishes. Overall, he is being a good hubby and I appreciate him more and more everyday.

Hi - I'm Briana. I am 32 and this is #2 & #3 for my husband and I. We have one daughter age 7. I am 19 weeks and due mid June, but hopefully will make it too mid May!

    1) HOW MANY DOCTOR'S VISIT/TESTS HAVE YOU HAD SO FAR? I had an ultrasound at 7 1/2 wks (found out twins), 10 wks (check their growth), 14 wks (ob visit), 15 wks (perniologist - looking for membrane and found it!!!) and I have my big one this week (checking all organs, etc). I had 1 visit with my family dr (before I knew it was twins), and one visit with my new dr (specilizies in just ob and fertility). We have decided not to take any additional tests.

    2) HOW ARE YOU DOING?ARE YOU EXPERIENCING MORNING/NIGHT SICKNESS? I was VERY SICK until about 10-11 weeks. It felt like car sickness, starting in the mid morning and lasting the rest of the day. I never threw up thankfully. Right now I am experiencing heart burn or acid reflux. Doesn't matter what I ate or how much. And I find that I need to eat every 2-3 hours.

    3) ARE YOU EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH/ ROUND LIGAMENT PAIN & HOW OFTEN? Yes I definately have shortness of breath. Going up and down stairs or even cleaning for 15 minutes I am out of breath. I guess this is normal. I've experienced some ligament pain, but nothing too bad yet. I look huge though! Mother in law saw me yesterday and said I looked 6 months pregnant! I do wear a maternity belt (goes up over the sholders) and that helps 100%!!

    4) DO YOU KNOW THE SEXES OF YOUR BABIES? Yes - we are having identical girls!! Of course my husband would have been happy for at least 1 boy, and I would have been too; but at least this way I know what to expect!

Hello Maria,It is so nice to have you-we can learn alot from you. That is awesome "no morning sickness" I was gonna say that I have heard that no m/s means that you are more likely to be carrying girls/most people claim m/s with boys but had it pretty easy with girls but you are having the boy/girl combo CONGRATULATIONS! that's what I want. We are in the same boat as far as age,and I want this to be it after these babies if the lord says the same. Please keep us posted with your experiences :)

Hello Jenn,it is nice to have you here...CONGRATS on the twins-is it true that the little one moves out of the way for the new babies?(for examp. Is your 9 mth. old teething or walking moving along fast) Another question if you do not mind sharing...1st of all my regards for the miscarriage-I would like to know how far along were you when you had the m/c, and did your doc. tell you what may have caused it?About your husband...Thumbs up to him at least he helps out especially with keeping the chemical smells out of your range I think that is very considerate of him.My husband might be going through that pet syndrome(you know like how cats and house pets act towards the newborns)LOL he acts like that. Please keep posting with us and sharing your experiences.

Hi Briana, nice that you joined us....I am right along with you with eating what seems like every 2-3 hrs.CONGRATS on your girls-with identicals I've been told that the sex is always the same.(Please don't quote me because I don't really know) Please come back and let us know how your doc. appointment goes this week.I for one would love to know what to expect.Hope to hear from you soon.

My name is Alexis. I'm 34 and I live in Northern New Jersey. I have two daughters - one will be 3 on the 31st and the other 5 in Feb. I am almost 19 weeks and due mid June.

    1) HOW MANY DOCTOR'S VISIT/TESTS HAVE YOU HAD SO FAR? A lot  I had weekly visits and ultrasounds with my RE until I reached 10 weeks. I've had 3 regular OB visits, 3 emergency OB visits, and 1 middle of the night visit to the ER. I had a subchorianic hemotoma that caused bleeding around 10 weeks, it has since resolved, but this weekend had another bleed caused by marginal placenta previa. I had an ultrasound in the ER at 10 weeks, nuchal fold test and hemotoma check at 12 weeks??, followup for the hemotoma and cervical check at 16 weeks, and today my OB sent me over because he couldn't get the second heatbeat. I was scheduled for a cervical check tomorrow so they just did it today. I go back in 2 weeks for the Level II U/S

    2) HOW ARE YOU DOING?ARE YOU EXPERIENCING MORNING/NIGHT SICKNESS? Morning sickness has been the least of my worries. I was sick as a dog for the full 9 months with my girls so the occasional morning sickness I have this time is a breeze. However, these guys are seriously stressing their momma out. I spotted throughout the first few weeks and then at 10 weeks had a huge bleed that sent me to the ER. I was diagnosed with a hemotoma and put on restricted activity until the bleeding stopped. That resolved and I was hoping that the rest of this pregnancy would be easier, but I had another big bleed this past weekend. Now I have been diagnosed with placenta previa so I'm on full pelvic rest for the rest of the pregnacy and modified bed rest for the forseeable future.

    3) ARE YOU EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH/ ROUND LIGAMENT PAIN & HOW OFTEN? I am definitely getting winded quicker and with less exertion. I've had round ligament pain on and off almost this whole time,. but I couldnt even tell you when or how often. It barely registers with me.

    4) DO YOU KNOW THE SEXES OF YOUR BABIES(if so,how many wks. were you & at doc. visit # what?)/HAVE YOU FELT YOUR BABIES MOVE? We're having twin boys. They were pretty sure at the 12 week scan and positive at 16 weeks. I have felt these guys moving since around 10 weeks. It was just flutters until recently but in the last few weeks there have been occasional kicks and thumps.

    5) HOW IS THE HUBBY/FIANCE'/BABY DADDY HANDLING THE PREGNANCY? DH is being great. He's really stepped up to help me, especially now that I need to take it easy.

Not really so with my baby boy. He is teething but he is not crawling or walking yet. That is o.k. with me at this moment though b/c I know it is going to happen b4 the end of this pregnancy and I am going to be chasing him around. I'm just glad that wasn't the case thru the first part of the first trimester b/c I was POOPED all the time! My girls are 16 months apart so other than the twin thing, I have been through the newborn with practically still a baby sibling thing. I loved it the first time around and the girls are best friends so I am hoping to have the same outcome.
It's nice to meet you and the others due around our time. Looking forward to sharing our experiences!

Hi mommas! My name is Lindsey. I'm 32 and I live in Azle, Texas (Ft. Worth subarb). I have one son who is 3 1/2. I am almost 15 weeks and due mid July.

    1) HOW MANY DOCTOR'S VISIT/TESTS HAVE YOU HAD SO FAR? Only two. I had an u/s at 8 weeks, and then a regular OB appt. at 12 weeks. I wasn't supposed to get an u/s then but did anyway b/c they couldn't hear two heartbeats. Babies were find, just close together. I was a little concerned b/c I see that alot of ladies go alot more often than me. My first u/s there was a definite very thin membrane, but she said they could be ID so I guess I thought I would go more often. I go for my Level II u/s at 19 weeks and she said if they determine then that they are sharing a placenta I will go more often from that point on.

    2) HOW ARE YOU DOING?ARE YOU EXPERIENCING MORNING/NIGHT SICKNESS? I was so sick until about 2 weeks ago. No vomiting, but soooo sick to my stomach morning noon and night! Recently started feeling much better thank goodness, now just sick to stomach for short amounts of time, mostly if I haven't eaten in a while, etc. Was also VERY CRAZY TIRED but starting to do better in that area too finally. Not that I can keep my eyes open past 9:30 still, but at least I can walk across the room without needing a nap :)

    3) ARE YOU EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH/ ROUND LIGAMENT PAIN & HOW OFTEN? Yes, round ligament pain when I am walking on the treadmill and also when I get up too quickly from bed, and then just random sometimes when I can tell my belly is about to grow some more. I have also had shortness of breath for no apparent reason. It is wierd b/c I am fine walking on the treadmill, etc. but then sometimes the walk from the bathroom back to the bed makes me feel short of breath. And sometimes I feel short of breath when I am just lying there, so not really sure what is up with that?

    4) DO YOU KNOW THE SEXES OF YOUR BABIES(if so,how many wks. were you & at doc. visit # what?)/HAVE YOU FELT YOUR BABIES MOVE? Not sure, hope to find out Feb 17th at Level II u/s. I have felt a few movements the past couple of weeks but they are very few and far between.

    5) HOW IS THE HUBBY/FIANCE'/BABY DADDY HANDLING THE PREGNANCY? DH is doing great. He was freaked out at first b/c he saw how completely zapped I was. He's been treating me well though. Although it has been an adjustment for him, he actually asked me to help unload a treadmill from the back of the truck. I was like, "are you seriously asking me to do that??" Then I told my family and our friends who all yelled at him. LOL, not really but let's just say they made it clear I am not to be doing things like that.

One noticeable thing that is different from my singleton pregnancy is that I swear if I go to the mall and walk around for two hours my legs and feet starting aching big time until I prop my feet up. They don't look swollen, but they feel it! It seems early to me for this to happen, but maybe I am retaining more fluid since it is twins???

Sorry I wasn't clearer. We got two heartbeats immediately at the ultrasound. The tech thinks that my OB was getting both heartbeats, but just wasn't able to distinguish btw them. They had been top and bottom before, but they've shifts to more side by side positions and my OB had been looking for the 2nd heartbeat too low.

As for my girls, the 5 year old has been great. She's really been a big help and she is super excited about the babies. She loves to kiss my belly and talk to her brothers. . My 3 year old is difficult. She is a big mommy's girls and she's not really happy that I can't carry her around anymore. I'm hoping that she mature a bit over the next few months. She's torn btw wanting to be a big girl like her sister and wanting to stay my baby.

Hi, My stomach has really been feeling uncomfortable for the past few days.I think that it is because of the stretching that it is going through. So what I do for the uncomfortable feeling is drink plenty of water and rub my stomach with cocoa butter to allow my stomach to stretch with ease.Has anyone been experiencing this uncomfortable feeling from the stomach stretching?Do anyone have signs of stretch marks so far?I am 14-15 wks.

I'm 16 weeks and my stomach has started getting itchy so I constantly am putting cocoa butter on it. My stomach really hasn't grown much.

Hi my name is Courtney. I will be 21 next month. I have a 1 year old son who will be two also next month. I am 15 weeks and due July 12. I'm hoping to not make it to July. The end of June is my goal.

    1) HOW MANY DOCTOR'S VISIT/TESTS HAVE YOU HAD SO FAR?
I have had 2 with my regular OB and have another one next week. Not seen the peri yet, that will start at 20 weeks I believe. I've had 6 ultrasounds. One dating the pregnancy, two at ER, one for the NT scan, one at the doctor, and one that was paid for.

    2) HOW ARE YOU DOING?ARE YOU EXPERIENCING MORNING/NIGHT SICKNESS?
I haven't really felt much different other than an increase in appitite. I had a some nausia during weeks 12 and 13 and if I try to brush my tongue I have to run for the tolite because it gags me and I throw up. TMI sorry. I haven't been much more tired than usual until this week. I feel kinda like I woke up pregnant last Sunday and now I feel like that off and on.

    3) ARE YOU EXPERIENCING SHORTNESS OF BREATH/ ROUND LIGAMENT PAIN & HOW OFTEN?
If I do something really fast I get out of breath and occasionaly just sitting I feel like I can't breathe. Pretty sure it's because of baby b laying weird or something because then it just disappears. I have a lot of cervix pain off and on. I'm starting to think baby a might be hitting it because it will hurt really bad for an hour or so and then stop for a day. Haven't really had any pains with stretching. I did notice I started getting stretch marks! I was so sad. I didn't get but one on my stomach with my son and now they have already started. I guess I was going for one of those cute twin bellies. That's almost in the past. Has anyone else noticed more hair on their stomach. I don't look like an ape or anything but the hair has either increased or old blonde hair has turned brown. It's all over.

    4) DO YOU KNOW THE SEXES OF YOUR BABIES(if so,how many wks. were you & at doc. visit # what?)/HAVE YOU FELT YOUR BABIES MOVE?
I knew from the start that it was boys. Gut feeling, had it with my son too. I found out last Saturday that it's boys. 90% sure. I am having some gender disappointment as I only wanted two kids and now having three so I definatly will not be trying again and my husband and I really wanted a girl. I wouldn't trade my son for anything and I know once I see these two I wouldn't them either but I still really wanted my girl(s). I would have picked 3 girls when I was a teenager if I had a choice and now I'm going to have three boys. I was 15 weeks exactly when I had the the ultrasound done. It was at a 3D/4D ultrasound place. My mom paid for a series of 3 (one at 15, 19, and 25). She did the same for my son. It will be fun getting to see them grow. I started feeling the babies move at 13 weeks 3 days. One kicks the other flutters. Now it is both kicks. I feel them almost everyday but not a lot. One stays in the same spot all the time and the other moves from beside the other one to above him. I can sometimes feel him move from the top to the bottom and vice versa.

    5) HOW IS THE HUBBY/FIANCE'/BABY DADDY HANDLING THE PREGNANCY?
My husband is excited about it but not 100% supportive. If I ask him to do stuff he gets upset and calls me lazy and then gets all smartalichy (sp) if I say well I'm pregnant and it would kill him to help me out every once in a while. He was the same when I was pregnant with my son. I don't think he realizes just how much it takes out of you to grow a baby. But he is naturally very lazy and doesn't do anything or really have an interest in anything that isn't in front of a screen. I might have to cancel internet and cable. Or set up passwords.

Overall I feel great (knock on wood). As long as I get 8 hours of sleep I don't get tired during the day. As long as I space my time out and don't work super hard I don't get worn out easily. I do at home daycare and am only doing part time/hourly/backup on a military base. It has cut my pay down a lot but I know in the long run it will be better for the health of my babies.

The one thing I am concerned about is I haven't gained any weight. I started at 130lbs 5'4". I am currently 128. I haven't had any food adversions or m/s and I have been eating constintly so I don't understand it. I eat both healthy and junk foods. My stomach is growing. I have been in maternity pants since I was 9 weeks and look at least 5 months. I'm going to ask the doctor next week when I go.

Welcome to TS Courtney. I think you are the closest to my due date of 7/17 so far! Can't wait to share stories, updates, and concerns with you! I wouldn't be too concerned about not gaining weight at this point if you are doing everything as far as eating, drinking, etc. But certainly talk to your O.B. and see what their opinion is.

Hello Courtney,Your due date is the day before mine.My expected due date is July 13th,but like you I am gonna be prepared to possibly have them 3 wks. earlier (falling sometime in June)CONGRATS on your boys and look at it on the bright side, I think that boys are low maintenance-girls you have to watch after more.(well thats what I think,I have had a friend to tell me that she thinks girls are lo maintenace)I have a few friend who are going through some major stuff with their teen girls (running away, sexually active, one was raped at age 12)did'nt mean to get so vivid but with girls you really have to be there for them from day one.Of course we are concerned about our children's well being regardless of gender but it is just a personal opinion of mine.So god always knows what is best and he will never put more on us than we can bear. :itwins_boys:
