I am looking for basic ideas about journaling for the babies. My situation is a little different since we are expecting our twins through a gestational carrier. I think I want something for each baby to have. Are you moms doing any journaling and are you doing two separate journals? Thanks!

I don't keep separate journals for my kids. But I do all my scrapbooking digitally, so that I can print multiple copies if they're about more than one child. This is a huge benefit with more than one child. Each one of them has their own scrapbooks and they LOVE to look through them, read their stories or have them read to them. I journal on almost every one of my pages, so it is a journal of sorts. And there's no mess from papers and stickers and such, which is a bonus. Here are some of my LO's, to see what I mean. I started digiscrapping when I was pregnant with my twins (though they don't go that far back on that site) and did do some about the pregnancy and such. I also keep a journal. I'm somewhat hit and miss on that the last 10 years or so, though. I used to be excellent, but with kids I just am not always consistent. I used to worry, with both my journal and scrapbooking, about getting every event, every story. I've given up on that because it was stressing me out. So I take a ton of pictures and figure that anything I do is bonus. I love to do scrapbooks about little events or moments in our lives, not necessarily every big thing we do and certainly not in chronological order. And sometimes if I don't get something written in my journal that I want to remember... like funny things the kids said, I'll send myself an email about it with journal in the subject line.
