    Hello all,

Eleanor and Vivian turned one this weekend... so I'm another newbie to the 1-4 Forum. I’m looking forward to getting to know all of you and learn from you. I have lurked here for a few months and posted occasionally, but here are all of our details in case you’re wondering:

Ella and Viv are our only kids, and were a bit of a surprise. We’re “older parents”… I’m in my 30s and my husband is in his early 40s. We found out we were having twins at my 20 week ultrasound; my poor husband almost fell out of his chair. The girls were born at 34 weeks and spent a couple of weeks in the hospital growing and learning to eat. They both suffered from reflux but have had no other health problems. The first couple of months were really tough, but now we’re having so much fun. E & V delight in everything; they grin and giggle all day long. The girls were about 12 ounces different at birth and the pattern continues; Viv clocked in at 20 lbs 12 oz and Ella at 19 lbs 14 oz this weekend. We believe the girls are identical, but aren’t 100% sure. Someday we’ll give in and do the DNA testing, but until then, we are having fun guessing.

    Cheers,
    Trish

Hi Rachael - thanks for asking about the yogurt challenge. It didn't go so well, sadly. No major awful reactions, but definately some mucus-y diareah. I don't really know if that was yogurt related, but I suspect it was. We're now trying three weeks without yogurt to let everything even out and then will try a week of yogurt again.
