Joining in!

    I used to post here at TS awhile ago but after surviving 2 deployments in less than 2 years I decided to majorly cut back on internet time in exchange for more family time. Luckily DH is getting ready to start 3 years of shore duty so we will have a lot more time together now.

    Well, we got quite a surprise on Saturday when we found out we're expecting again! DH really wanted one more and we were sort of discussing if and when we would start trying. Apparently someone else made the decision for us! He hasn't stopped beaming since we found out - I was 2 weeks late and in denial but he knew it all along. Now we're both just thrilled to be adding to our family. The boys will be almost 4 when this one is born and I think it's a pretty good age gap.

    Funny thing is, this will be the third baby in the family in less than a year - DH has two pregnant cousins, one is about to pop any day now and the other is due in a few months. The whole family lives here so we're really excited to be raising our kids together so close in age!

    How exciting!! I think a 4 year age gap is perfect.. only one in diapers :D Congratulations!

    Glad to here that DH will be home more!!! YAY!!! Congrats on the pregnancy, that is GREAT news!!! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!

    Congrats! That is great news! Sounds like you all deserve it after the last 2 years!

    as an aside, my twins are 4 1/2 and this baby is due any day now...I think the age gap is perfect, they are sooo excited and ask a ton of interesting questions...of course we also have a 2 year old who has no idea how her world is about to be rocked!!!

    Congrats again, here's to a happy and healthy pg!!!

    That's awesome! Congratulations...I think 4 years is a great gap (mine are going to be a little closer than we had anticipated :FIFblush:)

    Glad you're close to family and DH will be home!
