joining all of you

Hi All

My little two turned one last WEEK (edited to say week not year!), so I thought I'd switch boards and introduce myself. I hope to learn from all of you and contribute when I can.

So just as a way of saying hello...I have boy/girl twins. They were full term, but they are just little mini's...my little girl just broke 16.5 lbs by her first birthday and my little boy is just over 19 lbs. They seem to be fine in every other way so my pedi says to just relax and realize that my DH and I are smallish, so it is no wonder that these two are smallish as well. My DD is walking everywhere and my DS is trying to walk but not quite there yet.

I'm thrilled to be a Mom. I'm an older mother, tried to have children for a long time. My only regret is that neither of my parents are alive to see their grandchildren.

I look forward to learning from all of you!

hey sotto - been looking forward to you here. Astonishing that they're already ONE, isn't it? As for being an older mom - well, join the club, i qualify as Antique Mommy.

take videos of your crawler, because soon enough she's going to be RUNNING! It just blows my mind to see how much they've developed in the last few weeks; it seems like every day they learn something new.
