Jogging stroller

I currently have a Jeep SBS and it's been a great stroller, mostly due to the fact that it has mesh backs in the seats so that the boys don't sweat to death when we go for a walk. The problem is that I am tall and the stroller is short, so it's awkward to push it when we really get going on our walks.

So...I want to get a double jogger, but I can't decide what is more important...a swivel wheel in the front or vented seats. Apparently, I can't find one that has both.

I live in a very hot and humid climate and the vented seats are pretty important, but so is the swivel wheel because I want to be able to take this to the store as well as outside, the beach, etc. I tried out a fixed wheel jogger today and it won't work for us.

Does anyone know of a double jogger that has mesh/vented seats and a swivel wheel?

Thank you so much in advance for any suggestions...

I have a swivel wheel - really the only thing I can imagine, but it's NOT mesh back seats!! I wish I had better advice for you!! This is tough!

Have you looked at the Dreamer Designs Strollers that's what I had. Not cheap, but boy did I ever love my stroller. There's no way I would have made it through the first two years without it.
I had a fixed wheel. I didn't mind it at all--that stroller turns on a dime. There is also an opening at the back under the canopy that lets a lot of air in. I only felt like they sweat the time we got caught in the rain and I had to put the rain over on.

I've got a mountain buggy and it's great and can be changed from free wheels to fixed wheel really easily. It is a jogger but it has 4 wheels - can go anywhere which is a bonus. The handle is adjustable so you can put it where it feels best for you. I don't about the vented seats though.

It's pricey but the Chariot is amazing.

We have a Schwinn and love it. We live in Florida and I took the boys in it to a Triathlon last month. It was hot and rained, but they only time they sweated in it was when they were asleep. The part above the seat is mesh, but the seat is not. Mine has a swivel wheel that can be fixed. I bought it on eBay for $120. I definitely think the swivel is more important than mesh. I had a fixed wheel snap n go like stroller and it was horrible! Mine also has an adjustable handle for height.

We have the Bob Revolution Duallie and live in a really hot (but not humid) climate. The seats are not mesh, but there is an air flap at the top of the back that seems to let in some good air. The front wheel can swivel or lock in place.

FYI... the Bob works great for all heights. I'm 5'4" and think it's great to push. My nanny is 6'2" and she says it's totally comfortable as well.

Good luck finding the perfect stroller.

I have the schwinn also...LOVE it. I did want the BOB, but out of my price range. I belong to a fitness group called Stroller Strides and we are about half and half...half have bobs and the other half have the schwinn. The only thing I would want to change is having dual sun shades. It always seems like one wants it up and the other wnats it down.
    good luck!

We have a BOB Duallie too and love it! My kids are 3 and STILL sit in it. It has the locking wheel or swivel wheel. I only use he locked wheel when I am going down a flight of stairs (yep...I take it down stairs on the occasion).
I get comments on it practically every time I take it out. Someone even asked me if it was for sale!! LOL!!
