James O’Leary – travel consultant, amazing service

I know that people are quick to criticise and slow to praise, so just wanted to shout out James O’Leary from Travel Councillors for organising a ‘holiday of a lifetime’ to Sri Lanka for my family this summer.

James was recommended through another person on Nappyvalley, and I can see why. We had quite a difficult brief – we have two daughters aged 14 and 16, one of whom is autistic, and wanted to do some cultural things for us, and some fun things like water sports for them. James guided us through various countries before we settled on Sri Lanka. He then created an 18 day itinerary, staying in five different places and with lots of things to do. From hiking to safaris, whale watching to jet-skiing, he got the balance spot on, even arranging a quiet lounge for us to stay in at Colombo airport so my eldest didn’t find things too overwhelming.
