Jackson and Isabella have arrived!

    Jackson and Isabella arrived on May 5, 2009 via c-section at 5:19 and 5:20 p.m.. CINCO DE MAYO BABIES!! They both weighed 6 lbs 4 oz and were both 19 inches long. Jackson spent 3 days in NICU with fluid in his lungs, but other than that they were both healthy and came home on day 3 with momma!! Unfortunately, Jackson is not nursing well thanks to the bottle that was given to him in NICU but we are pumping for him and trying to nurse. Isabella is doing well with nursing. I dont want to scare any one with details from the c-section, but if you have the chance to deliver vaginally DO IT!! You are out of your mind if you think a section is easier! Needless to say two weeks later I fell pretty darn good, and I mowed the grass today!! LOL
    Now Isabell had an elevation on her first PKU test and at first the thought she had glutaric acedemia with is terrible, but after taking further tests it is now pointing to MCADD disorder which is no where near as threating and much easier to deal with. I cant explain what all it entails yet. I need to do some more research and the will be testing some more to make sure she even has this.
    The last two weeks have been a blur and I am just now strating to feel like myself again, but geesh they make me feel old!!LOL

    Glad everything went well and you are feeling back to normal (finally :ibiggrin: ) I think you are the first one I have read since joining that had twins measure the exact same.
