I've joined the ranks of hospital bedrest

I was actually put on bedrest 9-21, it's taken me this long to get a laptop and get on. I found out this morning that the hospital has a laptop that I can borrow, how awesome is that.

As to why I've been put in the hospital.

The TTTS has gone a bit screwing, the girls have switched places. Baby A who was smaller and lower fluid now is bigger and has more fluid than Baby B. The doctor's aren't real sure why or even how. But the girls are actually doing very well considering their enviroment. I'm getting NST's daily, BPP daily, doppler's on their cords twice a week, at least two tracings on the monitor during the day, and heparin shots. I've also gotten steroid shots and have another round coming up in a week and half. I'm not on strict bedrest, but that's only because I have a foot injury from the beginning of the year that needs to be worked some each day. I'm probably going to end with PT up here in a couple of days, my foot is starting to pay the price of not working it, and that will cause more pain with it.

I'm sorry to hear that you're on hospital bedrest, but I'm glad they are watching you and you and the babies are doing well. It's awesome that the hospital loans out laptops! My hospital has wireless internet, but we had to get the laptop.

And it may seem overwhelming right now, but you can do this! I've been in the hospital for 4 weeks now. It does get easier.

 

Sorry you are on hospital bedrest Jen. I was there for 10 days until Trevor was born and couldn't get out of bed for anything, not even to use the bathroom. So I know how hard it is. Hang in there. :hug99:
