I've got a bun in the oven!

Just took the test this morning. It's a fact. I'm pregnant. :banana:
My period was 5 days late, I have an unbelievable appetite and feel things are happening in my belly.
I'm so happy. Since the girls were born I had a feeling that i'm not done but since it took us 7 years to conceive them (and a couple cycles of Clomid) I didn't believe it could happen.
My mind is spinning. There are so many things to think about and plan.
I guess we'll need a new car, another baby room.
I'm just going back to work from my one year maternity leave October 1st. I'm sure they'll be very surprised with how soon after that I go on leave again!
With the girls I had an incompetent cervix and I was on bedrest from week 20 and it's a miracle the girls stayed in till week 40. I hope though there is not bedrest this time around. After a miscarriage and then the twins who were a difficult pregnancy I'm hoping this will be the easy happy pregnancy!
I had an appointment scheduled for a check-up on the 12th with the obgyn so i'll get my first ultrasound then.
I told DH this morning when we were out for coffee by the sea with the girls. Was he surprised! He's very pleased but thinking a little too much about the practical considerations.
I know we can make this work.
Well you're the only ones who know, we're not telling anyone till I see the dr.
Tell me it can be done! Please share advise. I think it's marvelous Can't smile broadly enough

We talk about having another one in the near future and since it took us 5 years, 2IUIs and invitro to finally get pg I'm always hopeful when I hear stories like yours. This happened to us too! We got pg naturally after the twins were concieved with an IUI after 3+ years. Congrats!! Im excited for you!

Hello & congrats!!

We found out literally a week after my twin boys' first birthday that we were expecting again, an incredible shock considering it took 2 years and some clomid to conceive them. Not to mention, I also had one ovary removed during my c-section because it had become intertwined with a large cyst (sorry, TMI.) I was devastated after that happened because I figured there was no chance I could ever get pregnant again. When the doctors told me it wouldn't affect my fertility, I thought they were humoring me. Turns out they weren't!!

It took us a few weeks to get over the shock of finding out we were having #3, but considering everything we'd been through, it just seems like a true miracle. At the time I found out, the boys still seemed so much like babies, but now they are walking and talking and it feels like it's going to be much more "do-able."
