it's the little things

I'm always amazed at how excited my kids get over the most ordinary things. Here are some big hits:

-running around on the driveway (they like this about as much as going to the park!)

-going barefoot

-walking on the couch yelling "Hoooo daffodil!" (I have no idea how they came up with this one, but they'll even ask to "play daffodil," which means walk on the couch yelling "Hooo daffodil.")

When you're that little, it really doesn't take much! :lol:

So what little things are your kids crazy about?

I can't pinpoint one right now (I am beyond tired) but it seems like there are so many things that set them off in giggles lately.

My kids are crazy about:

Jumping off the couch onto the pillows

Picking their carseats in the van

Brushing their teeth

Unloading the dishwasher*

Vacuum*


*Apparently I have a couple of neat freaks on my hands ardon:

 

Mine :wub:

Jumping on our bed

Being chased around the house

Playing light sabers with their older brother

Chalking the driveway

Vacuuming the living room

Kids are soooo neat. :good:

 

boxes!!

We bought a fireplace for our patio adn now my 7 & 10 y/o have it in their room. I found them last night reading books in there and drawing on the inside of the box.

Oh yeah, jumping on the bed NEVER goes out of style!

 

Pouring the detergent into the washing machine. They LOVE that they're finally tall enough to do this.
Picking dandelions (you go girl!).
Pushing the button to turn on the humidifier.
Watching people come up the front walk.

 

Another picking dandelions here.
Going out on the deck.
Watching the mail lady/UPS delivery/anyone else who stops in front of the house.
Putting away their laundry.
Getting to carry something into the house.
Putting the books in the library return slot.

 

The current obsession here is to stuff every toy into the pop-up tent (which was supposed to be a ball pit, but it never worked) -- then all three get in there on top of all the toys and horse around and giggle.

It's a riot!

 

Mine LOVE to sit on the edge of the couch, cross there legs, put there arms above there head and say they are at the beach, lol. And of course jumping on my bed, picking out rocks in front of our house, and picking weeds haha!
