It's so too very extremly annoying

Those people asking you when they see you're deadly tired: "How come you wanna be a mom if you don't get tired?" I hate this question so much, my MIL almost asks me this q in every conversation about my boys, people think that you should be suffered, tortured, tired just if you dare to want children in your life & never complain about it.
My MIL never stop telling me how hard it was for her to raise 4 children (not twins) while she was working, she thinks I shouldn't complain when I keep awake all night through, when I have to hold Omar all the time or he'll cry, when I have terrible back pain...
It's really bad to be that crule towards new moms

I am so sorry. I feel your pain....mentally AND physically! And yes it is 6 am.....the whinning dog woke me up cause she needed to potty, he woke up the babies. While I was getting the babies back to bed.........the dog promptly got on MY side of the bed and pee peed! YEP! already a good morning!

 

It is so tough sometimes to deal with people's comments. I am so sorry she is making you feel bad!! :hug99:

 

I'm sorry to hear about people's unhelpful comments. My MIL is not quite as bad as yours, but still she has no compassion for what DH and I are going through with our 3 small children.

reeba, I cannot believe your morning. I really hope things improve for you quickly! I'll bet you gave that dog of yours what for, huh?

<_< Sheesh. As if you should only have kids if you love exhaustion & crazy hectic days. As if all the wonderful stuff about having kids should just magically erase all the PITA stuff. Yes, babies are awesome, and yes, babies are exhausting.
