Maybe I just have amnesia when it comes to the last pregnancy, but I just feel so much bigger this time around! At my next visit, I'll ask the doc what I measured when I was this far along with the twins. I feel stretched to the max and I still have a month to go. I also feel so much lower, like I'm dragging a basketball around at the bottom of my tummy.

How are all of you experiencing this pregnancy as compared to your multiple pregnancy?

I am smaller, obviously....and feel much smaller.. I probably felt this way when I was like 24 weeks pg with the twins. I remember with them I just felt like my skin was going to pop right open like a balloon. I think I felt this way on my first pg...but it's been so long it's hard to tell.

I know that I am not that far along, but I am so much smaller this pregnancy then with the twins. Poeple can't tell I'm pregnant yet. I think I'm going to like this singleton pregnancy :)

At first I felt like I grew bigger faster, but then I guess it was twins to start out with, so that kind of makes sense. Now I still just feel fat! I was bigger to start with during this pregnancy.

Same with me...I'm about 25 lbs. heavier this pregnancy than I was with the twins...I was a size 8 when I got preggers with the twins and I was a 12 when I got pregnant with this one. So, I think that makes a difference. I'm 20 weeks right now and I look just like my 20 week pics with the twins. However, I carried the twins high and wide, not really "out" front. When I delivered at 34 weeks, I was measuring 38 weeks and NO ONE thought I looked full-term. I think it just depends on the person.

I'm defintiely smaller with this pregnancy and I feel that way. I was even concerned for a while. At this point in my twin pregnancy, I started retaining fluid. I have none now, and hope that continues.

I'm carrying completely different this pregnancy. With the girls I was wide all over. And, I had pre-eclampsia so I had all the water retention to deal with. This time my belly is straight out. I feel like my belly can't possibly get any bigger because it is so stretched but I guess it could if it went out to the sides. Also, my girls were born at 34 weeks so I'm already farther along than I was with the girls.

I felt bigger at the beginning and very much obviously smaller towards the end. Just the fact that I could stand in the shower without getting exhausted, I didn't need my Snoogle body pillow at night and could just use a couple regular pillows, and I slept better made the 2nd pregnancy so much easier. From 39-42 weeks with the singleton I did wear the XL maternity clothes though, just like 30-35 weeks with the twins.

Well it is physically impossible. I had my appt and I'm nowhere near what the size I was with the twins. I would have actually delivered them last week anyway. It's that pregnacy amnesia. I forgot how "fun" it was towards the end - how I got fooled into doing it again! :D Good luck to everyone. Hope you all are finding a way to get some rest.

I was thinking I felt bigger, until I looked at the picture of me prego with twins at 37 weeks. My friend commented that it looked like a fake belly. I am carrying the same, all in front, I think that add to my illusion of being bigger...
