    YEAH for knowing for sure!!

I peeped your blog and it looks to me like one has blue eyes and one brown? Must not be the case, of course, or you wouldn't have suspected id's but in the pic it looks like it.

    They are cute!

Yay for frats :D !! How nice to finally know for sure! We were fortunate that ours have different blood types AND look so different, so we knew from the beginning. Yours definitely do look a lot alike.

They both have blue gray eyes (just like my son did when he was their age) but I'm sure they are both going to turn brown (as blue eyes do not run in mine or my dh's family AT ALL). I can tell lately I think they are both starting to change to brown so maybe you can tell in some pictures because of the angle? Who knows. =)

I'm so glad you found out! My twin sister and I didn't know the answer to this until we were 33 (also through proactive genetics.) It's the most frequently asked question and it's so nice to be able to give the answer definitively! Your girls will be glad you did this test!! :)

OK, so I have a real stupid question. Does the fact that mine shared a placenta, but were in seperate sacs, make them ID? I haven't been able to really get that into the research, but I guess I just assumed they were ID.

I guess I should really get on it, huh?

    Any info would be great!

Yay! It's good to know, isn't it? Your girls do look a lot alike. I'm glad you were able to find out for sure. Much better than wondering and always having to say "we think they are ______ but we're not sure" and then having to explain how sometimes you can't tell. So annoying.
I still dress mine alike too. It's just easier. And heck, it's cute.

I think this is the first time I've seen a fraternal result. :good:

Congrats! I am so glad you finally have an answer. I was so happy I could finally say yes- they are identical- but you know- I think I have been asked twice since I found out

If it's definite that they shared a placenta (sometimes they fuse together and it's difficult to tell), then yes, they are definitely ID.

Congratulations! I just found out yesterday that my girls are Identical. We thought we'd wait until they were six months or so but it bugged us not to be able to tell people for sure. You know...everyone who sees them asks!!

Congrats on finally having an answer! It is a relief to hear not every DNA test comes back id. Thanks for the news!
