it's in the water

    There are currently 18 women pregnant with twins in my city. (Population is around 51,000 here).
    One of these women already has a set of 18 month old twin girls, and she is due in January with twin boys. She did not take any fertility measures either time. There was a story in the newspaper.

    I guess even the doctors here jokingly say it's in the water. :lol:

    On my street we had three sets of twins in three years. we were all within eight houses of each other. One family moved.

    Seriously, it could be in the water. If alot of people in your area are taking fertility drugs - they could be peeing them into your water. Water treatment does not remove stuff like that - only bacteria and bad stuff like that.

    I had to call my water authority to find that out and although they told me the concentrations would be so small to not affect anyone - they did say that all the drugs people take end up in our water. There is new legislation and water testing requirements in the works to try to remove Rx drugs from our water supply.....

    Just an FYI.

    Congrats on the twins and the twin boom in your town. I bet your Multiples club is really hopping!
