I am 28 weeks and counting...and am always experiencing a new and sometimes worrisome symptom so thanks for all of your support. For the last 2 days or so I have felt consistent movements from both of the babies but they are not the usual punches and jabs that I am used to feeling. They are more like the earlier bumps and swishes. I am assuming it is because last week they measured at 2 and a half pounds and are losing room to continue their boxing? I go to my OB on Wednesday and really do not want to go into L&D when I am still feeling them regularly. Has anyone experienced this as time wore on in your pregnancy?

My OB told me as long as I feel them regularly, not to worry about them. At that point I was experiencing some weird rolls in there... some of them were really uncomfortable, like one of the babies was trying to break out of my skin!

My feelings feel different all the time some times punches and kicks other times flutters and yet most of the time it is the rolls like they are gonna rip out of my skin. I never thought to worry as long as I was feeling them..I love when they move

All of mine were flutters, from the first time I felt them at about 20 weeks
until I delivered ay 36 weeks. I never felt the big jabs. Mine were always
    big flutters or rolls.

Mine went from being super hard jabs/kicks/punches to the rolling/fluttering towards the end as well, they defintely didn't have the same 'exercising' space in there anymore!
My dr. always said that if I was worried about their movement or had any drastic changes in movement to just give them a call or come down so they could run a quick NST on the babies :) It really put my mind at ease.
    Enjoy those movements!!

During my pregnancy the boys changed their movements quite often. It was around 27-28 weeks that I felt those jabs and kicks, and then for about 4 days I would feel a roll every now and then. I freaked out and went to L&D and they did a nst and the boys were moving constantly. My OB said that the boys were probably just kicking one another instead of me. (which made a lot of sense to me). Sometimes, my friends with singletons, have been told that their baby might just be kicking their back.

I wouldn't be concerned - but I know it is hard. My OB said to just lay on your side or back in a still quiet place, maybe with a book, drink something cold and sweet. She said to give it two hours, because the babies can have longer sleep cycles, and count their movements.

I would, however, mention it to your OB just to be sure. My OB was always good and doing an NST in her office if I was concerned.

Hope your babies start giving you more movement! :)
