Lauren has done so good lately with naps and sleeping at night. For naps, if I notice that she is getting tired, I could lay her down and she would "sing" herself to sleep. Mattie needed a little more coaxing, but we were getting there as well. At night, I would still rock them, but they were never completely out, but almost. i would lay them down and they were out.

Fast forward to the last couple of days... Lauren has figured out that she can roll over on her stomach and sit up and then pull herself up, aww how cute, right? WRONG. If I lay her down awake at naps, she sits there and SCREAMS or stands there and SCREAMS & at night she wakes up at night and pulls up, but can't figure out how to get back down. :help:

:hug99: I know you are probably going to want to slap me :icon_biggrin: , but it's a phase. Show her how to get down a few times, and then let her figure it out. It won't take long. :hug99:

Mia was doing the same thing a few weeks ago. I was sitting in their room until they fell asleep. Once she began sitting up and pulling up I had to start leaving the room. For a few days I sat right outside their room and if she really started freaking out I would go in and lay her back down. After a few days I just left the room and went downstairs. They still play a bit before they settle down to nap.

Trust me - she will figure out pretty quick how to lay back down. I decided that if I tried to go in and lay her back down 100 times she would begin to think of it as a game.
