GIRL! We are excited since that's what we know and already have everything. Now, telling my inlaws who really wanted a boy and coming up with a name... Everything looks great according to the dr and there is nothing to worry about so now I can relax for a while.
That is great to hear! You have a great attitude!! I know my grandma was thrilled that I had a boy (along with Audrey). Congrats on team pink!
Thanks everyone. We are happy for three girls, but my inlaws basically gave DH condolences...so ridiculous. They can't understand how this wouldn't devestate us.
Ellen, I'm sorry for your IL's selfish response. A baby is a blessing, nothing else matters! My DD found out on Monday that she's having a third boy. I could tell she was hesitant to tell me the U/S results because she thought I'd be upset. WHAT?!? Okay, it did take me a while to come to terms with the pregnancy itself ... but I could never be upset that she's having another boy. I think it's awesome! While I'd love for her to know the joy of having a daughter (she's going to have her tubes tied at delivery), we don't get to decide, and a little girl just wasn't in God's plan for their family! Hugs to you, and congrats on another precious baby girl!
YAY team Pink. Congratulations. Our families are hoping for a boy too, I tell them I just want a full term baby without nicu time. Thats what I really want. I dont think they understand.
Ellen, congrats on the good news!! Make sure you remind your in-laws that the sex was not left up to you, but it was their precious son who made the final decision, lol. Gotta love in-laws
