It's a girl!

    Due to the preeclampsia and the related high blood pressure, along with a non reactive (not negative) NST, Amber Rose arrived on 8/6/08 at exactly 1pm.

    She is perfectly healthy and has a beautiful head of dark hair. We came home today (Saturday.)

    The c section went well, and the procedure itself was much more pleasant than what I experienced with the twins.

    My BP is higher now that it was before delivery so meds have been started. Hopefully things will start to settle.

    oops - edited to add that she was 8lbs 2 oz and 20.5 inches long!

    Congrats on your baby girl!!! How exciting!!!! I'm glad things went well and you are home now. Hope the BP gets under control soon. Amber Rose is a beautiful name...can't wait to see pics! Take care of yourself and enjoy that new baby!
