I am such a lucky Nana. My daughter and her husband had their ultrasound today and wanted me to go along. Both moms also went when they were having their 3 1/2 year old boy. We found out definately that one is a boy.....and highly suspect the other is a boy but when it came picture time he was shy. I'll confess that I kind of was wanting at least one to be a girl, but am very much counting my blessings with two healthy babies, and my husband says he now has a built in hay crew! She is 18W1D, and both babies looked great.
 Aww, that's great that you got to go!! :yahoo: for two boys {possibly }. I'm glad they are looking good. :good:
At my 19 wk u/s with the peri she could clearly see one was a boy but my little girl was being very shy! Luckily I found out the next week but it drove me crazy to just know one!
Yay Nana! I'm laughing at "built in hay crew" but only because I'm a girl and the never got me out of it! (Or detasseling, or walking beans or any other of those really sucky "boy jobs"....lol) I'm so happy for your family! Give your daughter a big hug from England! XO Becky and her haying crew!
That is so cool that you were able to go along!! Yay for 1 boy, possible 2!!! Keep us updated when they get the confirmation!
She doesn't go back to the doctor for 4 weeks, and the doctor told her they won't do an ultrasound then. She will then start going every 2 weeks, so I'm assuming her next ultrasound will be in 6 weeks, so that would make her 24 weeks along. The farther along you are, does it make it harder to tell the sex when everyone gets squished in there?

The farther along you are, does it make it harder to tell the sex when everyone gets squished in there? I don’t know what’s normal… but for us gender was clear as day at 17 weeks 2 days. In fact when the ultrasound technician asked if we wanted to know the gender it was already too late as the evidence was clearly visible on the screen… most of the ultrasound images since haven’t been aimed at genitalia, but with those that are… still clear as day.
