    Anyone experience this?
I'm 29 weeks preg with twins and woke up to the incredible itch. Lotion is not doing anything and it's driving me crazy. I also read that if it persists I need to call the OB. Anyone experience this??

Yes, mine developed after I already had the rash on my belly but calling your ob is wise because they may have you come in to get your liver/gallbladder enzymes checked.

Call your OB. I had a maddening horrible itch all over (started on my palms and feet) when I was pregnant and it turned out to be a symptom that I had HELLP and Pre-Eclampsia. It may be nothing, but definately get your liver enzymes checked!

I would call you ob just to be sure, but it could also be nothing-my aunt had fraternal twin boys and itched like crazy until the day she delivered them! Then it immediately went away.

Well thank you for posting this because I actually woke up last night because my feet and palms were so itchy. My feet have itched badly for two days. I have an appt with my OB today and was debating whether to say anything. Now I will. So while I have no solution for you I completely empathize. I have no rash or stretch marks either.

Hey, I did mention this to my doc and he told me that the liver changes functions in the last trimester and unfortunately the itching is a side effect. I can't tell you how much I hate this!!! He said that I could put cortisone cream 1% on but it doesn't help. Try icing it that is a little relief and I use a sugar exfoliating scrub in the shower. I've had this crazy itching for 3+ wks and it travels all over my body. I have scabs everywhere b/c I just cant help myself. I know I look like a fool, but when you slap the itchy part, that sometimes helps too. I FEEL YOUR PAIN. Good Luck.

please mention it to your doctor. I ended up with cholestasis of pregnancy, if u need info go to itchymoms.com.

Hopefully its not that but please get ur doctor to give u the blood test to check

    Good luck, keep us updated
