Itching?

I am 26w,1d. I have noticed the past day or two that I have started to itch. I keep trying like crazy not to scratch because I've heard it can add to stretch marks. It's not my stomach itching, it's been my breasts (sorry if tmi) and a few other places like my back and thighs (although that doesn't occur as often). I don't see a rash or anything of the such. I have tried putting on my Mama Bees Belly Butter, but it doesn't seem to help. Has this happened with others? Is it probably just my skin stretching? If it helps at all, I started this pregnancy with full size A's and I am now basically a D cup.

I am in exact same boat. You are probably right its the skin straching. Some days are better than others. Mostly its my belly but recently my back has been itching like crazy. As for the bbs oh yeah I was a small B now a full D :woah: I just keep applying my cocoa butter, hang in there.

I am currently using Itchy Creme it is sold on octoberorganics.com under the Nursing Mothers tab. It is the best it works it smoothes my itchiness within moments it seems like.

Plus it has organic and natural oils and butters. No medicines.

I like it and my friend is the one who recommended it to me.

It could definitely be stretching, hormones, or any number of things. If it really gets too bad you can always take a lil benadryl to help out. You are right about scratching it making things worse, and i know how frustrating that can be. If your skin is dry that can also make things that much worse so keep it nice and moisturized. Hope you get some reprieve.

Yeah, I've been getting that, too. Mine is under my belly. Apparently I've got stretch marks there that were not getting the full lotion treatment, plus in the pubic hair (awesome, I know).

I'm lotioning up and using baby powder during the day. When I sit down, the belly rests on my legs, so it gets wet/stays wet sometimes.

    Good luck!
