it looks like we're having a boy and a girl!

at my appointment today we found out our baby A is a little girl and baby B is a boy! talk about awesome! doc wasnt 100% sure about both but the boy is pretty obvious! our girl was .75 pounds and her brother was .96 pounds. they both seem to be growing great and they were going nuts during the u/s! squirming everywhere! blood pressure is still great 100/70 or i might have them reversed ha. he said my weight looks good. (8 pounds so far!) he is referring me out to the specialist to clear up my AFP test and so he can take a look at the growth differences but so far everything looks great. oh and the best news...they're both head down! he's optimistic they'll stay like that since they dont have much room! anyways it was a great appointment and i am much more excited now that we are having one of each!!!!

Congrats. My baby A was also a girl and baby B was a boy too. One thing though, mine were both head down ... until somewhere between 26 and 30 weeks, then baby B flipped. I still had a vaginal delivery though with a breech extraction for baby B.

 

Congratulations! Now the fun begins shopping for you babies.

Congrats! We are having a boy and a girl too, and for us, it couldn't have been better news! it's our first children, and probably our last as well, so it worked out well to have one of each ...

Yay! g/b are so cool! I don't want to be a wetblanket on the turning thing....but my head-down little girl decided to flip transverse like her brother at 34 weeks! boy was I mad!! But my boy was transverse on top of her, so maybe she had more wiggle room...hopefully with both of them head down they will stay locked in like that.
