DS, Jack, is almost 14 months and with in the past month he has really started to notice himself down "there". I was expecting it, but not so soon. I guess they really are growing up. Anyway, I was surprised that he is already interested in his little thingy. I am from a family of all girls so all of this boy stuff is new to me.

It gets worse when they get into their underwear because there is a new sensitivity to it all!!! Hard for me to totally "get" because I'm a girl :D

Evan and James like to point their's (and each other's!) out in the tub. Their dad bathes them and has taught them to call them their "wee wees". I think "wee wee" is officially Evan's first word now that I think about it! There's a story for his wedding reception.

One of my boys has discovered his equipment in the past month and I think it's really cute. Also, when I change his clothes, but not his diaper, he still looks down to see if he is free and clear. The best thing is that it keeps him still during a diaper change because he is busy checking things out. The bad thing is that if he has pooped, you better get that area clean - fast!

One of my favourite mom stories is when a friend of mine had just potty trained her son. She was walking by the bathroom one day and he was in there and she heard him say "I love you". She replied "I love you too honey". He answered "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to my penis."

Ah, from the mouth of babes.

Funny enough, my other boy has no interest at all.

i guess boys will be boys wow they sure do start early with that. guess it's a life long obsession
when my DS noticed his at first it was funny he looked down there and was like oh my what's that then he kept trying to wiggle it away and got upset in the tub it wasnt leaving until he he touched it and realized it was part of him since that whenever you change his diaper he immediately grabs it. just have to watch those poopy diapers i have had poopy fingers to clean then poop gets alll over the place.
