My days in the hospital are pretty much all the same. Wednesdays are a little different because I take a wheelchair ride to have an u/s done. Weekends are sometimes slightly different in that sometimes my DH is off and brings me REAL food!!! I'm ashamed to admit that I pretty much have a set routine down per day and it is probably the main thing that has kept the weeks going by as quickly as they have. Boring, but it works! I can't wait for the day that I actually have a real life again and do different things on different days. With my BABIES!!!!

I know what you mean!! Those of us on bedrest need to chat more here so we keep busy and we can support each other.

I'm still on hospital bedrest, taking it one day at a time...tomorrow we're 27 weeks!!! Heading to 28!!

Hospital bedrest really does get to me sometimes...I think it would be much much easier at home. I get homesick and miss my husband soooo much...even though we talk 10 times a day and he comes over every evening to have dinner and watch tv.

But we're focusing on just getting another day/week at keeping the babies in so they're healthy. I will feel more relieved at 28 weeks so in case they do come, the issues are decreased.

I check these forums every day, several times per day, so if anybody wants to chat, I'm game!!!

    Hang in there!!

This AM, I'm getting a slow start. . . the sound of my least favorite nurse coming in to take care of me has made me frightful of today. She's so rough and loud!

I wish I had focus enough to have a daily "routine", but I haven't been able to think straight. I'm going to take a shower today, watch a movie or two, surf the net, and pray for mercy from this nurse. . .

She is so unphysically fit and overweight that she doesn't have good control of her body - rendering her very rough and clumsy. She's terrible with NSTs - she has to sit in a chair next to the bed because she can't stand for long. And after a few hours, she comes into my room and hides out for an hour at a time on my couch because she is so tired. She'll talk my ears off, and it wears me out.

Sorry for the complaints, but y'all, it makes me want to cry it's that bad!

My fave nurse is back on tomorrow, and I'm going to specifically request her.

Also, my nurse last night seems on the edge of a nervous breakdown. . . her elderly father is giving her issues (which she felt free to elaborate about for at least 45 minutes to me). And then she furthermore decided to talk to me about twilight sleep, labor & delivery and all the pain it brings. Even told me about her own birth experiences. I went to sleep feeling unnerved and anxious.

I'm convinced, the nursing situation can make or break how your day is going to go.

I fully agree!!! It got so bad here, I had to write out a "care plan" approved by my doctors and head nurse just to get some sleep! I'm beyond sick of nurses asking me whether my contractions are painful as the basis of whether they're real or not. I've patiently explained a million times that I dilate without pain. They still look doubtful. But here I am half torn through my cerclage and my pain scale has never gone above a 2. I LOVE my favorite nurses though. I feel like they will be my babies aunties...
