It is official... i am a momma...

[SIZE=14pt]So its official i am a mom... I know that they are three months old now but last night made me see it more than any other day since i have had them. I put Beau and Savannah in Beau's crib together and they slept from 7:30-8:00 till 2:00-2:30. I had the monitor in our room and got up to head their way. I turn the hall light on not to blind them. Looked in the crib and seen the most beautiful site ever.

One little boy staring with big blue eyes so deep into his mommy's eyes and a huge grin with little feet kicking in excitement at the site of my face. Then look over to one little blue eyed beauty so happy and excited she begins to stick her bottom lip out and cry in such relief that her momma is there. I smiled and if i would have blinked a tear would have fallen as i thought to myself: I am a mommy and it was the greatest feeling in the world. I get to be these two babies mother for the rest of my life, what a blessing i have been given. What an honor to go through life loving them and having them love me back. [/SIZE]

 

Isn't this the most wonderful feeling ever. Mine sleep in the same crib in my room, and I am looking at them all the time thinking how blessed I am.

i love the way you wrote it. it does just hit you once in a while, doesn't it? sometimes i get stuck in the daily grind of baby care and then a magical moment like that happens ... makes it worthwhile

You just wait......It will only get better! My most favorite time of day is coming home from work and seeing the boys get so excited when I walk through the door.

I love being a mother... it is the greatest feeling in the entire world. My favorite part is when they cuddle up to me, I just feel SO loved.

You captured the Mommy-Love so eloquently! It is an amazing feeling...so much love that my heart almost bursts when they smile for me. I swear that Brendan's smile lights up a room and Jillian's laugh gives me butterflies in my stomach. :wub:

isn't it great!! for the 1st time today -Ava turned her head to me and grabbed me with the grip of a snapping turtle when
a friend tried to take her and hold her - it made me feel really good!! she loves me!!! :wub:

I know how you feel. You said it perfectly. My boys rolled over the day before our 9yr wedding anniv. and boy did it make me smile especially their faces of LOOK Mommy I Can Do IT. :yahoo:
The funny thing is that they are FR and they did it within 10min of each other. I am soo proud of their hard work and effort. It really made me :blush:
