It is finally my turn!

I cannot believe that after ready all those post of everyone's twins being born that it is my turn!

Our boys were born this morning!

Michael Dean Spivey born at 12:07 am
Jeremiah Haddon Spivey born at 12:30 am
Both boys weighed 4 lbs 12 oz and both of them are 18 inches long.
BOTH boys peed on the doctor while sticking out their tongues right at birth!

Here's the quick version of the story (For the long one you can go to my blog):
I was already 5 cm as of Monday. Right after we ate dinner last night I felt a pop and went to the bathroom and realized my water had broken! We got to the hospital around 7 and we got checked in and everything. I was in my room by 8 and got an epidural at 8:30. My contractions were a minute and a half apart, and the contractions hurt but they weren't unbearable - but I was not going to put myself through the pain, so we got an epidural asap. I was checked at 9 and I was 6cm and then at 11:30 when she checked me I was 10cm. I started pushing right before midnight and Michael came after only 3 contractions of pushing and it took Jeremiah about 15 minutes to come down then I started pushing and after 2 contractions he was born.

Both boys are in the NICU - Michael is doing MUCH better but Jeremiah is still having a hard time breathing.

They are PRECIOUS!!!
