it happened to me!!!

I cannot believe this happened! Well, I guess I sort of can...but still! So, I was leaving the gym today when one of the trainers that is there all the time asks when I was due!!! I said, "what?" Then he pats his belly and says again, "when are you due?"!!! I just had to laugh, cuz I knew he was going to feel horrible when I said, "they're three months old...I had twins." He then just tried to be nice, and say how busy I must be and stuff like that...but I was still stuck on his first line! Men should just learn to keep their mouths shut!
I gotta say though, I think that was the final straw for me...I really really really have got to get rid of this extra weight! I came home and threw away the last cookie hanging around, sent the rest of a key lime pie to work with my husband, and I am determined to keep the sweets away from my house!
I thought some one could mistake me still being pregnant for about 6 weeks after... but not 3 1/2 months later! Good grief!

So sorry! I know he was just trying to be nice. How embarrasing for him.
I am sure the weight loss will come. Getting rid of the sweets is a good start.

 

Two days ago a guy from church asked us when our next one was due, and my babies are six months old. I only have eight more lbs to lose but my tummy is in pretty bad shape from stretching so much. I think my dh was more embarrassed than I was. It is really sad that no matter how much weight i lose i will still look pregnant. I am so getting a tummy tuck!

 

You are definently on the right track. I couldn't even imagine being at the gym when my girls were 3 months old they are 10 months old now and I still can't imagine going back right now. Good for you! Don't worry the extra weight will come off!

 

At least it gives you great motivation right? I am sure you will lose the weight.

 

I think if you were at the gym when your babies are 3 months and before your DH went to work, dont worry, you will lose it!! You sound pretty motivated, but I'm sure his comment will help!!! And you are right, men should just be quiet.

Do not be hard on yourself... you just gave birth less than 4 months ago!!

I still hadn't lost much of the weight from my guys, and I am pregnant again, so I think I'll give up on the weight loss for a little while,

 

Oh dont you just hate that. Ive been asked the same thing more than once Unfortunatly for me, after 3 sections in 2 1/2 years and having had carried twins, my tummy is here to stay

 

People just don't think sometimes I swear. At least you can find it somewhat humorous. But seriously you ROCK if you are at the gym. I need to stop eating my V-Day chocolates and then looking in the mirror wondering why I can't lose my belly! hehe.
