It happened to me!

AAACK! I was hoping somehow we would avoid the whole poop playing thing, but noooo!
Bea smeared poop on the wall during naptime! Yuck!! It wasn't too bad, worst part really was washing her hands and getting all the poop out from under her fingernails. I didn't yell or anything, just told her that if she poops (and she is aware of it) to yell "Mama! Poop!" and I will change her.

Please, I hope it never happens again! Once was enough for me.

 

Oh Yuck Kelly Andrew did that one time (only once) and smeared it all over the crib. It was GROSS!!!

 

Oh dear, ick. That hasn't happened to us (yet) either. I've been dreading it for months.

We did have one close call -- Sarah got her hand into her poopy diaper while we were at my SIL's house for dinner. Fortunately SIL has two kids of her own -- I didn't even notice Sarah was digging around in there, but suddenly my SIL was holding her wrist in an iron grip (to keep her from spreading the poop) and asking me if I had a wipe.

 

Oh no-- so gross!! So far we have not had that happen and I hope we never do!!

 

Oh yuck. Hopefully it won't happen again.

I never had poop problems with my singletons, but that James loves poop. :bad: I'm sorry about the poop-painting.

When Connor was about 10 months old, he somehow got his diaper off that happened to have diarrhea in it, and I caught him squishing it through the mesh sides on his pnp during nap. Glad that only happened once. Had to throw the pnp in the garbage.

My son just did the poop painting a couple of days ago. He's 3 yrs and 4 months. Mom was NOT happy.

Especially since he pooped on the floor, then painted the wall, and of course it's the new carpeting and new *textured* walls that we just finished in the basement.

 

My kiddos have never played with poop in the house, but last night we let them run around the backyard without any diapers on. DD went up on the deck, behind a chair and pooped. I thought it was funny, but DH who was going to clean it up didnt think it was funny.

He is having a bad day today and he told me it is a Poop on the Deck kind of day.

 

my ds took off his diaper around 15 months in the PNP...I lucked out though and he closed the diaper neatly...then peed all over the place... Thought that was my one and only poop story....no....

Today... I go up to his room and he had reached down into his poopy diaper and spread it all over the room...my lovely cream colored carpet...a whole bunch of toys that aren't washable... all over him... I just cried... He's almost 2.5 and potty trained for peeing...but I have yet to get him to poop on the potty.. He saves it for right after naptime.. but now I've decided that this calls for drastic measures... I'm going to start going up and getting him earlier from naptime...maybe even waking him up in the effort to catch him "in the act"...so I can force a situation where he needs to poop and he's around me..so I can proactively encourage him to sit on the potty....
