It finally happened...

On Saturday, we spent the day with my parents and the girls nap in PNP's there. Well, I was in the basement helping my mom and DH heard crying upstairs. He went to check on them and Morgan climbed out of the PNP and was crying b/c she was irritating Reagan and REagan bit her finger. Back in she went and they fell asleep.

Then, I had to work at BRU on Sunday...I called DH during my lunch to see how the girls were. He said that he was making a late lunch after putting them down and heard a thud and crying. So, he went ot check on them. Morgan was laying on the ground screaming. He picked her up, examined her and she was fine. I'm glad I wasn't here...I would've been scared to death.

It's funny b/c I never thought we'd get to that point. I've been working on getting their room ready and was moving them into it this month...just need another board to put on the bed frame (we have x-long twin mattresses and no box springs). Well, the only thing stopping us is that we need to get to Lowe's and get the board cut. UGH!!!

Well, at least we made it to 2 years 4 months and this is only the FIRST mishap!!!! At least she wasn't hurt. Thank goodness!

 

Aww! Thank God she's okay! :hug99: Off to the big girl beds they go!

 

We just went through this same thing this weekend with Ella climbing out of her regular crib with a BIG thud! I was so nervous, but she was fine. I think I'm going to have to go the crib tent, because I'm not ready for beds yet!

 

It is scary isn't it!!! But I have to agree...that is fabulous you made it THAT long in cribs!!! I am envious as Mitchell jumped out at 18mos (and I do mean JUMPED out!!)

oh, and congrats on another girl!!! What a blessing!

I know, I can't believe that we haven't had any issues until now! That just amazes me!

Thanks for the congrats on my next baby girl...we are SO excited!

 

I am so nervous myself! My twins are tall and they like to shake the crib and even tried to climb upward on the railing especially my son. My husband I think he'll be out of the crib by 18 mos. We hope to get the room ready for him (moving him out of the room they share). They'll be 15 mos old by Christmas. On the other hand, I can't wait to get the theme going for both of them.

Anyhow, congratulations for them to move onto the big bed!

 

Wow, how scary. Climbing out of the PNP and the crib all in one weekend. I am glad to hear that Morgan is ok and she didn't get hurt.

I am starting to get worried here as Alexandra is putting her leg up on the top of her crib. I have no plans to let them out yet so they will be tented as soon as I feel they need it.

 

Thank goodness she wasn't hurt! My 15 month old climbs out of her crib and also the pack n play. We had to get a crib tent. They make them also for pack n plays and after our recent trip we are buying one of those as well! I hope you have a smooth transition to beds.

 

Yikes! Glad she wasn't hurt. It is amazing your girls went that long without incident. Mine showed no interest in climbing out either, then one day it was like a lightbulb went off that they could climb out.
