I found out on Monday that I am pregnant. I had gone to the doctor to determine and to try and figure out abnormal bleeding which has caused me to become severly Anemic. My urine test was negative so we started talking about and planning surgery for this week. He was going to cut into my stomach, my uterus, and do a d & c. The nurse let the urine stick sit there and it started to turn positive. They figured it was a false positive and sent me to have blood drawn. Tuesday they called and said it was positive and wanted me to retest on Wednesday. I called on Friday to get my results and I am definately pregnant! It is so completely weird...to be honest. I haven't been pregnant in 5 years and it's like I have forgotten everything!! I knew within 2 weeks that I had conceived with the boys and it is the same now.

I don't know how far I am exactly. On Wednesday, when they tested me, my levels were 150. Does anyone know how far I would be exactly? And when should I contact my doctor for my first prenatal visit?! It has been so long...wow=)

Wow, congrats! You probably are around 4-5 weeks I would assume. Pregnancy tests (the early ones) can pick up 25 hcg and if you are at 150, you have probbly just missed your period. I don't really know though.

My doctor had me come in for my first OB at 11 weeks. I've heard anywhere from 9-11.

Congratulations, a first OB apt is usually at 8 weeks. I would give them a call and get yourself an apt. Good luck and welcome back to the club.
