Well, it didn't work for us. No matter how much rice cereal I add, R and J just keep spitting up. :( I guess I will just have to wait for them to grow out of it.

I still have my babies sleeping in my room in their bouncy seats because if the spitting up. I so desperately want them to sleep in their own room. Any ideas on what I could do? I don't want to put them in their room while they are in their bouncy seats just in case, and those sleep positioners/wedges aren't high enough for them.

It didn't work for me, either, when I tried the added rice. Actually, it just constipated them. Only one of my babies had a reflux problem, so I feel for you that it's both of your babies. But I'm happy to tell you that at about 8 months, it was gone. At, I think, 5 months there was a huge decrease. Now, never. Well, I guess I shouldn't say never, she is a baby and babies spit up. But maybe once or twice a week? Just invest in lots of bibs for now and just keep an eye that it isn't hurting them. Good luck.

Shelley, I was really hoping it would work for you, I'm sorry! You can raise the head of the crib higher by putting something under the legs. :hug99:

My boys were huge spitters!!! They would open their mouth and a flood would come out. I tried the rice ceral with regular Enfamil and they just got constipated. I switched to Enfamil AR (has added rice starch) that did not stop it completely, but cut WAAAY down! They did grow out of it around 4-5 months. Good luck!

Carlie usually sleeps in her bouncy at night. For awhile they were in our room in the PNP, but now they are in their crib in the nursery. So we just put that or the carseat...whatever she falls asleep in...in the crib as told by our pediatrician. Claire, we do the same, but sometimes she will lay in the crib.

We did the same thing with the bouncy seat in the crib. Unfortunately it definitely prolonged the amount of time the boys were in our room. And when one got better first he was evicted to the nursery to sleep by himself until his brother followed about a month later. Sorry the cereal didnt work for you guys...:(

We had better luck with Enfamil AR also. It didn't completely stop but with Zantac, it was really so much less. Patrick was a huge spitter too.

I really wish we could try the A.R., but both babies have milk intolerance so we are on Nutramigen. Is it just me, or does the Nutramigen smell like Cheezits?
