When I was pregnant with the twins, I remember telling my DH that we needed to give Patrick extra special care when he was born because he was stuck up under my rib cage sideways while Kevin had the rule of the land. When they were born, Patrick was a whole pound smaller than Kevin because he ran out of room to grow. He was hungry all the time, I felt awful for him.....

Well that was then and this is now!

Patrick is 85% for everything and at 7.5 months is wearing 12 month clothes! [IMG] This is the same baby that was told to "think chubby" from the OR nurse to avoid the special care nursery! [IMG]

And now, I feel bad for Kevin. He is small 50% weight (maybe), 20% height. Doesn't like to eat a lot and is this little little guy. Sweet too. But today when I put him in a new outfit, I noticed a stain on it and I realized that he is wearing hand me downs from Patrick! How sad is that????? To have to wear hand me downs from your own twin! Poor guy!

Anyone else have too completely different weight twins but the same sex????

YOu know, they seem to take turns. I could probably do unisex shirts from Audrey to Clayton, but not pants because of his height.

My girls are 4lbs(2-3 inches) different but my small twin is still my small twin. I don't think she will ever be chunky. They have always been at least 2lbs and 2 inches seperate.

Aww... I don't think it is sad to wear his brother's clothes... kinda cute actually.

In their pictures they look relatively the same size.

I know! But Patrick is about 3 inches taller than Kevin and he is much larger in the legs, arms, belly and his head. Its funny... pedi says genetically he is built to be bigger!

My girls continue to be only 4 ounces different in weight so I don't have any experience with that, but I wanted to say WTG PATRICK! That's awesome! Kevin will catch up and then they will go back and forth I bet...good job mama!

I have EXACTLY the same situation. One guy was jammed down in my pelvis and was very little and light. He has been horsing down food ever since. He is in the 93% for height and weight. His brother is in the 50% for height and 35% for weight. He wears his brothers hand me downs. At least I feel I am getting some value for money out of the clothes.

My girls are about 2-3 lbs apart but eat relatively the same amount. Berkley was my small baby (4lbs 2oz and got down to 3lbs 12oz before it was all said and done) and now is the bigger of the two 18lbs 9oz. Emerson was my "bigger" baby at 4lbs 12oz...down to 4lbs 8oz and now only weighs 16lbs 11oz and hasn't gained an oz in 3 weeks!!! We go for our 9 month visit next week and hopefully she will have put on some weight. She is VERY hyper and I think excersizes off all her calories.....already takes after Daddy... Emerson had very little room when they were inside of me...all scrunched WAY down and Berkley was so spread out the ultrasound tech said that she had never, ever seen a twin as spread out as she was...her legs were perfectly straight!!!!

I have boy/girl twins that were 2 pounds different and still were at the 2 month visit. We didn't know what we were having, so we have a lot of neutral clothes. My son is in 3-6 months and has "handed down" his 0-3 to his sister!

James was my little twin, he weighed 5lb10oz -Sean was a portly 6lb2oz, they were both pretty much the same length. Now James is at least 3-4 inches longer than Sean. So James is wearing all the nice new 6-9 clothes and Sean is still wearing the bigger 0-3's and all our lovely 3-6's. Poor Seanie is a midget!

Jenny, its funny how James and Patrick seem to be very similar and Kevin and Sean are doing about the same too!

Kev is still wearing some bigger 0-3 too and Patrick is wisking through the 6-9 and now 9-12!

Ah, poor guy, but at the same time a little funny since he was the bigger twin. Patrick just didn't like that and had to catch up and then pass him, WTG Patrick!!!

Trevor is 3 lbs. bigger than Emilie, but I don't think she'll be wearing any of his hand me downs.
