My girls sometimes get little bumpy rashes, sometimes on their faces. I don't know that its a zit. If I were you, I'd just leave it alone and see if it goes away on its own. If not, maybe call the pedi and ask him/her what to do.

My dd also gets what looks like a zit on her chin every so often, but I wouldn't pop it. It's not even good for us to pop our zits, so I wouldn't pop a childs. :good:

I agree with Liz and Leighann, I would not pop it and would definitely ask the pedi about it as well.

I agree with all of the pp's. My boys get them from time to time, but they usually go away in a day or two. Has she been sick? Sometimes I think the immune system's defenses go down and they get little zits when they are sick as a result. At least that's my theory because it always seems to happen around the same time.

Xander had something like that when we took them in last week for their 18 month appt. I asked the doc if was baby acne or something. He said not to worry about it that its probably just irritation/blocked pore caused by drool. I guess the idea is that they drool, stick their face in it and then sleep like that all night and it can cause those things. It made sense to me when he explained it, I hope I explained it right :)

I'd be sooo tempted to pop it, but would try everything to resist.

Last year did you notice small bumps on her body also? I know my girls got 'heat rash' last year 'and baby acne [poor girls]. And I noticed this year there were tiny red bumps on their back/neck area as well as some areas on their face. I thought it was heat rash, but I asked the pedi during their one year check up to make sure and she assured me they were.

Since then, I make sure to wipe/refresh them with a baby wipe or wash their face regularly during warmer weather.

    Just a thought ^_^
