Hey Ladies! I am 20 weeks along and have been having this annoying constant pain in my lower abdomen/pubic area today. It is a pulsating pain that won't seem to go away. I have been at work all day and experiencing it all day. I haven't been on my feet too much today. I am an accountant and sit at my computer typing most of the time. Anyone experience this pain? Any idea what it is? Should I call my OB and let him know?

    Thanks ladies.

I feel like I worry too much!

I would certainly call your OB and tell him/her what you are experiencing. When I was as far along as you, I had pain in my lower abdomen that radiated around to my back which they told me was round ligament pain. If you are experiencing pain, its always best to talk to your OB or call L&D.

I would call. I have had some odd pains this pregnancy, but it is better to be cautious.

I had some pains that sound about like what your describing, but it turns out that I was just partially dehydrated.
So you may want to try to drink lots and lots of water and see if that helps. I thought I was drinking a lot  but apparently you should never be without a glass of water in your hand when you're expecting twins! :D

That makes alot of sense. I haven't had any water today, just diet coke at work....I feel like a bad mommy :( I will see if the water helps. I am home from work now and feeling alot better. I have tomorrow off and plan on taking it easy.

    Thanks ladies!

i felt that way when as far along as you are. i called my OB right away (which you always should if you're not feeling "right" ). she told me leave work, drink as much water as i could fit in me (haha) and take a warm bath. i felt better after all that, but it was kinda scary. DRINK DRINK DRINK YOUR WATER!!!! it's so important!

I had tons of round ligament pains with my last pregnancy and this one as well. I would try to lay down and drink the water and call your OB office. Hopefully it will go away. Maybe some Tylenol will help or a warm bath too. If you are feeling really anxious about it just go in and get checked out. It will make you feel better. Good luck.

I have had pain like this off and on throughout my pregnancy. Every time I see my OB I ask about it, and she keeps telling me it's ligament pain. It's still worrisome though. It's just so hard to find out what is "normal" with a twin pregnancy.
