I am 26 weeks with my twin boys. I am not sure if this is normal. I am having a hard time breathing. It is not short of breath it is more like I can't get my lungs full of air. If I concentrate I can. I don't know if this is normal or if I need to call my Dr. Thanks is advance for any of your experiences.

I am 27 weeks with twin boys also. I get short of breath at times and it feels like my heart is racing, but it goes away eventually. I think it's just the boys pushing on our lungs. Hope you feel better!! :)

Yep, them babies are pushing everything up and it makes it hard to catch my breath. Especially if I do any walking like walmart or grocery shopping!

I had this really bad with my first pregnancy and it has just started with this one. With my first pregnancy my little girl was in a breech position and was constricting my diaphram. She even disolcated one of my ribs and they would click together when I breathed. Hope it doesn't get that bad this time round. Depending on your body size, position of the babies etc. they just don't give your diaphram enough room to expand and so you don't get enough air. Try sitting up as straight as possible when it gets bad and breath slowly. Sorry you have to go through this, just another one of those pregnancy joys!

I've already got it at 14 weeks... just started this week. I feel it the most when I'm sitting... if I stand up and "stretch out" I can usually get a better breath... I can't imagine how much worse it's going to get...

Yup, normal. Lay on your left side and take short deep breaths and it'll go away faster. Don't lay on your back though, that just makes it worse! Being pregnant is just so wierd sometimes! :)
