    Hello gurus!

I've just gone on unofficial maternity leave- (I'm a Scottish Primary Teacher and most of the schools here are on holiday over the next week, so I don't officially go off until a week on Tuesday!) But my last real day working was Friday.

And I haven't stopped crying! :( If I'm not crying I'm absolutely shattered and want to sleep, or want to eat!

I've been fine up until now, in fact quite upbeat, but I think the enormity of having twins is starting to hit me.

I have a wee boy of 5 and girl who's 2 and a half and I'm worried how I'll have enough time in the day for them. My hubby was made redundant a couple of months ago and still hasn't managed to get a job so I'm panicking about that too.

Sorry for the moan! Last week too I was thinking I would have been OK to work a lot further up to my due date!

    Thanks for reading!

Of course it's normal. Just try to relax. Somehow, someway things always work out.

I agree with pp. This will work itself out. And the crying is very normal! I am not a cryer, but throughout this pregnancy I have been the biggest baby! It does get better, I feel like I am closer to my normal self now, maybe a bit more opinionated and vocal though, but I think thats a good thing!

    Thank you!

I think I've perhaps been too calm up until now and have bottled some of my feelings up. Now the floodgates have opened for sure!

Very Normal...I am having the same problems...I am going in Tuesday for my C/S and I cant stop thinking about my boys and how this will affect not only my relationship with them, but thier lives in gneral. I know it wont be the same, and it may not be bad-different, but its all about change you know? Its hard, and newborns require so much attention.

hugs to you, and I understand...

No problem to vent and seek advice :D . Remember, you slow down a lot in the third trimester. You'll continue slowing down and getting more uncomfortable, so it's really no surprise you were ready to stop working. Take care of yourself the best you can and you'll be able to better care for your family and growing babies ;) . At some point, probably even now, you'll need some help to get things done around the house, etc. Don't be afraid to ask. You're doing great!!
