Seems many people go in for their routine/normal NST... and then are told they are delivering their babies either that day or the next due to either not enough fluid or the baby isnt moving as much as he/she should... so is this why most people end up going before 37 weeks?? or is it because your water breaks or things like that?

I just went into labor and my water broke while I was signing paperwork at the admissions desk in L&D (single most humiliating moment of my life). I was actually scheduled for a NST that afternoon but the girls decided that they were ready to pop.

I had 2 normal NST's at the OB and then I was just admitted on an evening when I was seeing spots and having a terrible headache (admitted for pre-e). Then I had 3 NST's a day (one each shift on bedrest). So all my NST's were fine just admitted and delivered for another complication.

I had a bad ultrasound at 33 w 4 days. I was totally not expecting the twins at that time and was not prepared mentally for them to be here yet. My advise is to be ready at any time to deliver them b/c twins do come early.

I had had an u/s on Wed and when I got up to go to work the next morning my water broke. They were broke 34w3days and I was not prepared at all for their arrival. I busily packed my bag for the hospital and while I was at the hospital my sister made their crib and bassinet up. So my suggestion would be to be prepared.

Hmmm, good question! I had an NST this morning and the babies really didn't move too much. They kept me 15min longer then the usual hour and had to give them a little jolt to get them moving. Unfortunetly no mention of being induced or anything.....I'm SO ready though!
