Is there anything I can do to minimize a Goose Egg?

Kylee is learning to walk, and lets just say she is not very proficient at it yet. She took a header this morning on the tile floor, and she is perfectly fine except for this HUGE goose egg on her forehead. I am having their pictures taken on Tuesday and I am really hoping that it is gone by then. Is there anything I can do to speed up the healing process?

Try a cold compress - if you can get her to sit still for it, that is! It should help the swelling go down. Ibuprofen is also an anti-inflammatory, so might also help.

    Poor baby! Ouch!

In my personal goose egg experience.....the swelling should be gone by then...but if its bruised which i imagine it is, it will likely still be by then....maybe some concealer..lol thats just my experience tho....i hope your LO is ok!!

what sunshine said - DS ran smack into a wooden chair arm and the goose egg was gone in a few hours but the bruise was there for several days....

She wouldn't tolerate the ice at all. She just wanted to eat the ice pack. They are still asleep so I guess we will see how it is this morning in a bit....

Take pictures! Her first battle wound! (Sorry, that's sometimes how my twisted brain works!)

Sorry I didn't get to this in time!! I know it's hard to see their bumps and bruises!
