Is there ANY reason not to sell my Duoglider?

I have the duoglider front and back stroller and the infant seats and really do not see any reason to hang onto them. I use our jogging stroller for walks and when we go out I carry them both from the parking lot in. I do forsee them getting too heavy to carry but by then I would imagine they would just walk independently anyway.

I was thinking about taking the duoglider to the consignment stores. Do you moms with older twins forsee me using it in the future or should I go ahead and sell it?

As far as having other children I am sure it will be the year 3000 before I convince my DH to try again and the double stroller would not be helpful anyway!

 

I used my Duoglider until my boys were three. I couldn't imagine not using it before then when we would go to the mall, especially. I know you think when they are steady walkers they will just go where you want, but that generally doesn't happen for a good while. Most of the time they will try and run in opposite directions.

 

I stopped using mine within the last year. After Liam came along, I would sometimes have he and Nolan in the stroller and let Meghan walk with me. If I had someone with me, I would bring the single and the double and they would help push. Now, for walks, we use a triple jogger. I can't imagine not using a stroller for Liam and he will be 2 in January.

Even at almost 4 years old, I wish I had a triple for trips to the mall, etc. SOOOOOO much easier than getting a 3 year old to listen and stay close by when those long empty halls await them for some serious running.

 

I was thinking of selling mine as well, but it's really come in handy these past few days. We went to 2 places (just me + my 3 girls) & I really needed the little 2 contained. It's totally up to you! I just sold my double jogger & single jogger & miss them! It seems that as soon as I let something go, I need it.

 

I sold mine not too long after after I bought my MacClaren. I didn't miss it one bit.

 

I don't use mine much, but I have used it for things like fairs, amusement parks, stuff like that. I also used it for the mall until about 2.5 I guess. I don't go to the mall a whole lot though, it's usually just to one place, so if I went more often, I would probably need it more.

 

I donated mine when my girls were eight months old and moved out of infant seats. I got a Bob double jogger and use it anywhere I need a stroller (grocery store, mall, zoo, walks, etc.). My kids are basically the same age as yours, but I can't see a reason why either of us would need a front/back stroller in the next year or so until our kids refuse to sit in strollers.

 

We sold ours when I got my SBS and then I got a double jogging. I tend to use the double jogging the most and the SBS at the mall or at retail stores. I don't miss my Duoglider at all!

 

My kids hated it after they started walking. We still have it but are putting it in our yard sale this spring. We went to a SBS Macleran and they LOVE it!

 

If you have the jogger, and haven't used the Duoglider in a while, I say go for it. I held onto mine for a year after we stopped using it before finally selling it this past summer. I was worried we'd need it, but I still have my wagon and 2 single strollers just in case. I haven't missed it one bit! Though I will say that when my kids were your kids' age, we used it all the time.

 

I sold mine when they were around age two, but I replaced it with a SBS Chicco Citta. I personally still miss the Duoglider though, the only fault it had was that it did not have a 5 point harness and Lily kept climbing out. I still do pull out the stroller for errands sometimes, mostly to the mall or Kohls.

I also have a SBS double jogger that we use outdoors.
