There was a birthday thread about a week ago with a recommendation for a good "ride on" car-thingy. I can't locate it...which one do you like the best? I'm starting to pick out birthday gifts for my twins.

My mom bought Emma and Alex the Delux Cozy Coupes for their first birthday from Little Tikes. They STILL use them and have loved them from the day we put them together. I highly recommend them!

My girls have the little tikes racer. When they were first learning how to walk one would sit on it and the other would push them and then they would switch. They still push each other around and they are 2. I would recommend it!

My boys have this Little People ride-on bus and they absolutely love it. They push it all around the house as they walk behind it, and they also love to ride on it while we push them. The seat opens up to put things inside... and they love to fill it up with toys and then knock the bus over to dump the toys out. They have two other ride-on toys that they really don't play with too often... this one is definitely the favorite.

My girls have one of each: the one Jamie has by Playskool and the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn. The FP one is hands down the favorite: it's sturdier, rolls better, and they love all the buttons etc (much to my annoyance after 100x a day!!)

Oh, their first year must've completely blew my mind... I just remembered, they also had the Pooh Bear cars, the horns honked... and they played music... let me see if I can find a picture for you...
